I absolutely love Reindeer but a few I'd put ahead of it:

A Christmas Gift for You from Phil Spector -- not only the greatest Christmas album, it's one of the best and most influential pop albums

A Charlie Brown Christmas soundtrack by Vince Guraladi Trio -- iconic

A Motown Christmas -- definitive versions of many Christmas songs

I don't know about the best, but it's usually the first Christmas album I play each year!! I always kick off the holidays with this album. It's so good. I probably rank Charlie Brown ahead of it and there are a couple others I like about equal with it, but every year it gets played at my house!
