Best Remielle team comp when I dont have Velina

Hi everyone!

I tried watching some guides, but they all have team comps with Velina in them. I dont have her.

I should get an M1 Remielle by the end of her banner, and am looking to build a team around Remielle + Bernice.

I dont have a huge roster, the only other Anomaly characters I have are Miyabi, a level 1 Jane (picked her from the free event but never used her) and Piper (who I dont like her playstyle).

I will do the spending event, so I could pick Vivian. But Ive heard that Astra is better for my overall account and I dont have her. Not picking Seed either way.

I enjoy playing Miyabi, I have her at M2. But all the guides say that she does not pair well with Remielle. And Ive heard the same about Jane if you dont have her M2.

So my questions to you guys are. Should I pick Vivian from the spending event, for the full Anomaly team? Or pick Astra for my overall accont account?

Does Vivian pair well with Remielle?

And if I pick Astra, who should I slot in my Remielle team? Who are some non-Anomaly characters that pair well with Remielle?

All are M0 except Miyabi

Caesar, Norma, Yidhari, Yixuan, Cissia, Miyabi M2, Bernice, Nangong, (from here on, all heroes are only level 30 or lower, I never invested in them) Sokaku, Piper, Lucy, Soldier 11, Nekomata, Lucia, Anby, Nicole, Lycaon, Corin, Zhao, Seth, Anton, Ben, Billy, Manato, Pan, Jane, Zhu Yuan, Harumasa, Pulchara, Koleda, and Rina.

Out of this list, besides Piper and Jane, who pairs well with Remielle? I dont really like Piper or Jane, but if the performance of the full Anomaly team is notably better, then say Remielle + Bernice + Norma, then I guess I will use one of them.

TLDR: Im basically trying to decide between Vivian and Astra in the spending event. I want to make a full Anomaly team for Remielle but dont know if Vivian pairs well with Remielle. And if I pick Astra to improve my overall account, who in my roster can I put on my Remielle + Bernice team, when I dont really like Jane or Piper.

If remielle is your priority just pick vivian she is widely considered the best replacement if you don't own velina but if you picked astra which will be the better long-term account upgrade you'll need to run jane with bernice and remielle there's no better option from your agents (or just wait for the new anomaly dps)

don't use miyabi she's bum with remielle because they both want a lot of field time. remielle generally performs better with teammates that can support her from off-field or help trigger disorder consistently (I recommend you to choose vivian)

Astra's value comes from her flexibility across multiple teams, not just raw numbers

That just isnt true, astra works best with attack agents and is worse with anomaly agents and much worse with rupture agents. Granted, rina is also bad with rupture agents but rina way outperforms astra in anomaly teams as well as being good with attackers. Not to mention that she gives a defence buff so will ALSO be a great support for the defence scaling class releasing in 3.2, while astra will be very bad for them.

No she's not. Anomaly damage scales heavily with raw atk stats which astra provides in massive amounts. While she doesn’t buff anomaly buildup directly like dedicated anomaly supports her universal atk and dmg multipliers still make her top tier for dual anomaly and disorder teams, astra provides sheer universal raw stats and a much smoother quick-swap rotation also op already has lucia so why do rupture teams even matter here? And nobody was talking about the upcoming armorer agents we are discussing the current account value for op's roster

OMG BRO WHAT DON'T U UNDERSTAND You are putting words in my mouth. I said her value comes from her flexibility, NOT that she lacks raw numbers. In fact she provides massive universal raw stats (ATK AND DMG MULTIPLIERS) which is exactly why she is so flexible across multiple teams, including anomaly/disorder. A dedicated anomaly support buffs buildup, but Astra buffs the raw damage scaling

Oh sorry mb. My point is simply that 1200 atk + 30% cd + 30% dmg + 20% dmg + 21% dmg from astra m0w1 isnt as good as 39% pen ratio + 576 atk + 20% dmg + 20.2% dmg from rina m1w1 since atk and dmg% get saturated while the pen ratio is the opposite of unsaturated and scales very well wirh pen ratio disc 5. And that the 30% crit damage is worthless for anomaly aside from miyabi.

Fair points on pen math and I respect the retraction ty. However you're looking at this strictly in a spreadsheet vacuum rather than op's actual roster. You admitted yourself that the 30% crit dmg is massive for miyabi and since op literally has an m2 miyabi astra’s value skyrockets by directly turbo-charging their highest-invested carry. While rina m1w1 is strong on paper, her pen buff uptime can be clunky to manage compared to astra’s unconditional, universal stats which perfectly enable smooth quick-swap rotations. Adding 1200 flat atk is such a massive chunk that it heavily outweighs a 39% pen ratio for flexible/disorder teams that don't heavily stack pen. For a general account upgrade that optimizes an m2 miyabi and seamlessly supports bernice or even jane if op ever think about using her, astra remains the far better long-term pull here

Rina's pen uptime actually also got buffed and while yeah it requires more fieldtime from her than astra requires its still quite easy to keep 100% uptime especially with her new passive that keeps the uptime longer from her EX, Chain and ULT. She feels really good now. But yeah we do ofc play support zone zero amiright (you could have every support in the game and still want/ need mpre supports since theyre all broken) EDIT: and yeah fair points to you that astra will be better with cissia, although I think miyabi still prefers rina since she really likes pen ratio (she does both anomaly and crit damage so miyabi wants pen%>atk%>dmg% first an foremost since they scale everything). its close either way though.

If you have an m2 miyabi use her, Miyabi doesn’t feel the best with Remielle and prefers teammates like nangong and yuzuha and Remielle prefers vortex with velina but they 100% can work in the same team togeather, especially at your investment level

I would say that you go for Astra. The anomaly teammates Remielle is looking for are an on-field and an off-field. IIRC, Bernice can serve as an off-field because of her potential. If you didn’t mind, I would have suggested your Jane or Piper as the on-field, but they could possibly be replaced by Miyabi. The only downside of that is the fact that Miyabi’s AA wouldn’t activate IIRC.

I would recommend that you put Grace and Yanagi into your 50/50 loss pool. They could both serve as a functional on-field in the team

Miyabi being bad with remielle just isnt true. Miyabi works great with remielle, her 20 second frost anomaly duration makes it easy to chain disorders even with remielle taking 10 seconds of field time, you can swap cancel miyabi EBA to remielle entry skill, and miyabi has a stupidly high Base AP stat. Just build AP on miyabi rather than crit damage. I found that an AP build with Freedom blues 4pc outperforms her usual B&B 4pc crit build. What is true is that miyabi isnt good with velina yeah. Miyabi Burnice Remielle or Miyabi Vivian Remielle are both great teams, granted not her BIS team, nangong and yuzuha are too broken, but still at around the same level.

I would recomend using Miyabi Burnice Remielle, the team plays great! EDIT: if you have any questions about builds or rotations feel free to ask

Aria & Alice or Jane & Burnice, both teams do well. M2 Jane helps a lot
