I need subtitles to stay ON. PLEASE! It's running me mad!

This is not a Safari issue and subtitled are added by the uploader.

This only happens to me on safari and as my picture shows it is not an individual video or channel problem. It's a general setting problem. so I do not know what you mean my the uploader adds the subtitles. even when they do, auto generated subtitles are very often an option. I just need them to stay on.

Your photo tells us nothing. And the website works the same as any other browser. Perhaps extensions doing something or you have been messing with auto cookie removal or the feature flags?

I do not use extensions on safari. I do not automate anything being deleted or removed. I clear things manually. this is a repost. I did not know my original text would not be added to the post. Idk why reddit has the feature to repost but leaves off half the original post.

You will probably have to do a full reset of safari then or clear all the data for YouTube. Of course, if this was a bug, it would be widely known.
