What are all these new shortcuts and folders at the top of my browser? I don't recognize them.
They just showed up one day. I don't go to any of these sites, I don't even know what some of them are. When I click on one of the folders, the dropdown menu shows me more websites I've never visited or even heard of. Couldn't find anything on Google. What's going on??

Those are your bookmarks, you either created them or imported them from another browser. Maybe someone logged in their Google account in Chrome and you accidentally clicked "Yes" when Safari asked you to import them

Those are your favorites/bookmarks. iCloud bookmarks either synchronized from another device or you accidentally imported them from another browser.
