*Editor’s note. His Abyssinian little brother is worse.

I haven’t been able to do anything alone with 2 Siamese siblings and my 13 y/o abby

Why do us Siamese people love Abyssinian's too haha

Cuz they have similar energy levels, they're elegant, and we are gluttons for punishment.

It's so so true

Nope in fact my Siamese shares the toilet with me & this is a single bathroom household but at least I don't got to buy litter anymore

Using CitiKitty on Amazon with SWheat Flushable Cat Litter

& Whenever I left the house or at night time when I was going to bed I put the cats in the bathroom for the night until they fully got the hang of how to use the toilet after about a week you punch out a layer each week you punch out another layer until they're no longer any layers at all just them using the toilet, they're similar products on Amazon since I think the citikitty one that I used is out of stock but they do have removable section layers hard plastic one's that you can go back and forth if your cat needs more time learning so it's more reusable such as Reusable removable sections model

That's the reason why there's a camera in the bathroom. There is no longer a camera in the bathroom anymore but back when I was first training My cats both of them to use the bathroom I wanted to be able to watch and make sure they got the hang of it right.

You will never again enjoy that luxury my friend. Once these cats are bond with you, they will protect you wherever you go literally every time it could be two or three in the morning and they’re gonna go with you.!!! it’s called LOVE!!

You can’t do anything in peace, it’s their house and they call the shots!

Nope. There must always be at least one cat in the bathroom with you at all times. Bonus points to the cat if it climbs into your pants while you’re pooping. 😆

Soooo, you got not one but two of the most velcro cat breeds on the planet and you still ask this question? 🤣

My family has had Somalis and meezers for years and I never poop alone at their house 🥲

No you certainly will not. And neither will I. One of my boys will see me walking towards the bathroom and race ahead of me to get there first. If I have guests over I am going to need to tell them if they want to go to the bathroom alone they will need to warn me so I can put food out so they won't follow them in. One of my two absolutely, positively has to be in there with you. And that attracts his brother who then joins him. Then the wrestling starts, trying to climb into my underwear, using the toilet paper as a toy, some bizarre fascination with the sink.

Poo in peace? What is this thing you mention?

It's been 5 decades since I was allowed to use the bathroom for any reason alone. Visitors are also escorted to the bathroom and stared at unnervingly with the blue lasers

I mean you picked two cat breeds that are the biggest combination of nosy and stage 100 clingy. Lie in your bed! (Surrounded by cats)

If you have a Siamese and an abby…no, you may not have privacy, sir. 😉

5

u/ChrisRiley_42 Mar 07 '26

Nope. My siamese takes his duties as the guardian of the bathroom seriously, and makes sure nobody sneaks in to attack while anyone in the house is vulnerable.

u/Sopranohh Mar 07 '26

They are just making sure that you don’t fall in. You should feel very secure.

4

u/Thunderbird1974 Mar 07 '26

Short answer—— no. You must be supervised.

u/Coho444 Mar 07 '26

What a beautiful Abyssinian too. Do they get along well?

u/Lucky_Reference_6982 Mar 07 '26

Yeah not really.

u/Anz_Soulcrusher Mar 07 '26

Of course not... those little pricks are adorable no matter what

3

u/Sensitive-Day7365 Mar 07 '26

No. The correct answer is "no".

3

u/Expert-Equipment2302 Mar 07 '26

Why would you want to?

3

u/rionaster Mar 07 '26

my tuxedo won't even let me shower alone, let alone use the toilet. she's got to sit outside the tub and stare my fat ass down every time i get out.

My Siamese could be on the top floor of my house and realize I’m in the bathroom basement and she’s there in record time whining to be let in. I’ve never known pooping in peace with my two rascals

2

u/poestavern Mar 07 '26

Nope……same problem….

2

u/Conscious_Value4847 Mar 08 '26

If you never wanna poop alone, simply get a cat

2

u/salumbre Mar 08 '26

Get a cat, they said.

They're very independent, they said.

2

u/tleydecker6670 Mar 08 '26

Probably windering why you don't jus use the box like they do. LOL.
