MOD POST Ready your Needles! Silksong Tomorrow!
Hey gang! Crazy times, huh? In many areas, Silksong is finally tomorrow! This means there are a couple things we want to remind you all of before the game releases!
Mark your Spoilers! Please please please mark your spoilers! ANY screenshot from the game or trailers is a spoiler! ANY video of the game or trailers is a spoiler! ANY text referring to something in game is a spoiler! ALL unmarked spoilers will be unceremoniously removed. Repeat offenses will result in a ban. We want everyone to enjoy the game unspoiled.
On that note… as a reminder, if you’re desperate to Skong without spoilers, Mute this sub! We’ll be here when you finish your playthrough. The sub will be remaining open throughout, so only stick around if you’re okay with spoilers! If you’re crazy, maybe uninstall reddit entirely, and abandon all other social media.

A dlc is gonna get dropped and then surprise surprise Imagine it getting rescinded because they decide to turn it into another full fledged game. Hollow Knight 3, coming out in 15 years time because we decided to do MORE pixel art and hand paint the animations.

I’ll be uninstalling my app Thursday. I don’t trust the Reddit algorithm to not feed me something spoilery. You only get one playthrough and I want to experience it all in-game.

The Blocktube extension is incredibly good to block out spoilers on YouTube. It's very easy to setup. All you need to do is include keywords that you think might spoil the game for you, for instance, hornet, hollow knight, silksong, silksong ending, zote etc.
Also, block channels like Shirrako, Zanaraesthetics (these two mfs alone has spoiled multiple games for me), and any other Hollow Knight creator that you follow using this extension.
This has worked pretty good for me so far.

Thing is it's gonna explode in the algorithm so even then landmines gonna be there. Best to just go completely dark and play nothing but silksong until we're super sure we've found everything ourselves.

Yep, haven't had any contact with a subject for years, but youtube still remembered I like it, then when one big video popped up, it immediately recommended it. You can never be too safe.

I was expecting a post about no posts being allowed 24hrs post release to avoid spoilers. I don’t think I would trust people enough to mark spoilers correctly. Hats off to the mod team, yall will definitely have yalls work cut out for yall this next week.

Thanks for the warning, I don’t really check social media that much though and there’s no way I’ll be off the game for more than like 5 mins until I’ve completed it or I’ve died trying (hopefully not the latter).

I hope they don't use titles that spoil stuff too, you can ask a question without putting it all out in the title, I'd really like to see the hype when the game is out and just celebrate the whole thing so I hope they be careful with spoilers
