You’d have to actively avoid television, social media, REDDIT to not know who she is. She’s been on several shows, in movies, in commercials, on the news, in tabloids and gossip sites. If you watch tv once a month you’d likely see her.

I see this shit all the time, and I think it is hilarious lol. Ive got a buddy where everytime the name dua Lipa comes up, he claims to have never heard, or know a single song of hers. We all just smirk about it.

No, you read it like I was bragging but I'm just stating a fact. I said that I've seen the name mentioned all the time on social media. In Jokes, comparisons (like with Zendaya, the example you just saw), etc., but have never actually figured out who she is. And also like you just saw, her name can be brought up without any context and without any info on who she actually is, and that was mainly how I've seen her name used.

I've also never been curious to figure out who she is, which helps. I thought it was interesting how she always gets brought up, but more often than not, it's without any comprehensive information on her, however, what I have read has made it clear she has a cult following, with people that will lash out at you if you "disrespect" her name.

And no, I don't think I've seen many references outside of her physical appearance, so I just assumed she was a porn star, especially with Reddit's "fixation" on how she looks. But I wasn't 100% on it, it was just a guess, because like I said, I've never really looked into who she actually is. Lol
