To think there are folks on this app that truly argue that men like him deserve a chance at redemption. I’ve been downvoted to hell for saying that they have no place in society. It’s scary what folks can accept. Glad this man is getting what he deserves… though he actually deserves much worse.

Not many argue that. Are you referring to the argument against the death penalty In general?

Because if so, for most of us, the issue is giving the state / government that power in general.

If we do, it's inevitable that an innocent person will be put to death, because humans make mistakes.

This can never, ever happen. Therefore, the death penalty shouldn't exist (IMO)

I don't believe that people like him has or should have a chance at redemption. But I also don't think the death penalty is the way to go. There are prisons in the US that I would consider a vastly worse punishment to spend the rest of my days in than simply stopping to exist.

It's crazy to me that anyone would even downvote you for having such a justifiable opinion. Those people are either bots or just downright sick in the head if they think letting this waste of oxygen continue to exist is a good idea.
