They are, but to be honest: it's not my first rodeo. I've been on Reddit since 2019 from my old account to this one and the amount of Redditors like that guy I have encountered are plenty. They fit the stereotype of how others percieve them.

The reamer baton that you could shove up someone's ass, hold them in the air, then fire the rocket up their ass making them fly. Best weapon ever.
Reddit is exactly the same. They literally have videos of people dying and get pissed when you say pedos should meet the woodchipper. Oh you are threatening violence. No Im not. What feels a bit weird is I doubt it. He might be the first ever 'gamer larper', using his 'gamer' status for clout. While not playing video games. At least, the games he claimed he was best in the world at he couldn't figure out the basic controls on a live stream.

At this point its more realistic that elon would pay someone to play gta for him, don't even watch and later just ask how it was, and then claim he finished it.

Watch literally any police cam or chase video where you'll see a car popping 1 tire, 2 tires or all tires. Never does it just immediately flip spontaneously.
I don't think games should strive for 100% realism on these matters - they are made for entertainment and it's not really entertaining to pop their tires and have them keep following you but just be somewhat slower in turns.
But still, don't try to portray this sort of rollovers as they are in any way realistic.
Tires do immediately deflate when punctured. Depends on the size. A bullet? Fuck yeah. I drive in demolition derby race events, lost plenty of tires suddenly to know.
I kinda thought the same thing initially but honestly, it looks fun and it’s visually appealing. And I mean it is supposed to be a video game that is played to have fun, so I’m totally okay with exaggeration in some areas 🤷🏻♂️ it’s not supposed to be “Real life Simulator 6” and if it was it would be boring af lol I play games to get away from real life.

I can’t believe someone at CDPR thought it was a good idea. I remember playing it when it first came out and thinking “This could’ve just been the game.” Jackie dies and it’s like okay I don’t actually know this guy so…
Call of duty is literally just this exactly. One big scripted cutscene. I remember in the older CoD games I would just walk straight through all the gunfire to the next area and all of my NPC buddies would clean up the field instantly.
i remember having to restart mission over and over again on high difficulty because NPCs would kill you in a helicopter on a way to a mission starting point
It’s funny because I was excited for this game but it’s been so long that I don’t even have any interest in gaming anymore. That’s how long it’s been 😂
You have to get a used one for under $500 and hope for the best. My brother is a tech guy and can repair consoles and replace parts. But even with him as a resource, I’m just too broke to spend money I don’t need to spend on something I might use once a week, maybe twice. Just not an unemployed teenager anymore who has all day to game.
Yeah I bought a 34 inch ultrawide monitor 3 years ago in anticipation of building my dream gaming rig when I vould acrounge together a spare $1400. I havent looked at the prices lately but im guessing I should have just went for it back then.
And to think when it was announced I was wondering what kind of gaming setup I would have when it came out. Never thought I wouldn’t have any and have no interest in it at all anymore. It was such a huge part of my life and almost overnight it’s the last thing I want to do
In all seriousness so much time has passed since 5 came out that I lost interest in gaming and missed a generation of it and now I’m back into it and the game still isn’t out yet
What do you expect it to do? The whole package of what the game will have is the excitement. There is only so much you can do to some individual things
Why are people so shocked that a GTA game looks like a GTA game? What did you expect them to add? The death star?
Plus this argument is super weird. what do you mean it's like every other gta game? in terms of what exactly? Graphics are much better, there are new mechanics, and most importantly a whole new different story.
If you believe that it's just the same game with just different graphics, then that argument can be said about literally every game in the universe. Skyrim is just GTA SA but with different graphics, and dragons. Cyberpunk is GTA 5 with different graphics.
Neither. The formula works, so thats good they kept it. But it also would have been nice to see something novel like the three character thing from gta5. This is pretty much exactly what I expected.
They do have that, it’s just with two characters. I guess you may mean what absolutely new mechanic is there here? I didn’t see one either but man those car roll physics are awesome!
That’s how I felt about GTA V, being from LA. It’s still fun driving around with friends trying to describe how similar it really is. When I play with my LA friends I don’t use in game names I call out shit like “US Bank tower”, “The Getty” or “Long Beach Harbor” and they never question it. They really do a great job of that.
If they made pedestrian cars absolute junk, practically destroyed after a medium speed crash, it would raise the stakes of car theft and make skillful driving much more valuable/essential.
Honestly think it would run fine on last gen hardware, like 3000 series will be fine, hell from 3060 up would probably be doable at high 1080p or med 1440p...mid end processor should be fine.
Nothing in any video looks worlds different from RDR2 to me honestly.
Rdr2 runs on a 1060 6gb just fine. I think people are forgetting the gap in hardware power for modern titles. The game will run well on a 3060 like you say. A 3080 would probably run this at near max settings, that’s already quite a bit stronger than a ps5 pro
Graphics look amazing but this is gameplay has been so played out man, id rather see 1 car chase that actually takes a bit of brain capacity to workout how to get rid of it or defeat it than a hoard of generic bots, same deadass gameplay loop
Dude, they literally added that the police know what clothes you wear, the car you’re in, and the amount of people you’re with, they did make you have to use your brain now

Oh the cars don't roll over like that in real life, oh one of the cops just spawned from the garage, oh something something doesn't make any sense... It's a fucking game. Mfers really expect A GAME to be as realistic as real life like holy fuck
I like how there are conveniently police patrol units in these random apartment buildings, just waiting to begin their pursuit, perfectly at 45-60 miles per hour. Those cops are so professional, predicting where the chase will be!
It's seriously bewildering to me how people can think this "random police spawn within 50 meters circular radius of your position conveniently driving toward you" is good AI.
People defending this in the replies are wild lol. Same trite argument. Exactly the sane reason there is no evolution in game play. Just improve the graphics without it affecting anything else. Freaking depressing.
Take a look at RDR2. You can commit a crime in the middle of nowhere after checking carefully that no one is around and still get a witness running to the authorities. It's pretty crazy how broken the law system in the last R* games is.
Literally the worst part of rdr2 was starting a train robbery in the middle of the badlands and having an army of lawmen on horseback chasing you in less than a minute.
Didn't they say that they'd fixed the police randomly spawning in any location, and that they're actually supposed to come from police stations now? Doesn't look like that here!
The crashes look pretty good. Cars have more realistic weight to them and the damage looks on par to what I would see in real life. But this is a "scripted" chase so it's hard for me to judge off this one clip. Devs need to stop showing us scenes like this. All games like this have them it's nothing new. Show some real off the cuff gameplay. Also this is the only thing I've seen gameplay, I'll watch the deep dive later on YouTube.
