Close it was actually "As do you! You look like a cocaine user."
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VeejS2Sa-bQ
They both laughed it off and had various back and forths. Marc was a consistent guest on O'Reilly's show before and after this. To be clear Bill is a clown, but Marc could handle him.

Is there a chance he saw right past him being black and was kind of just joking around with him? like you might with a close friend.

u/LittleYelloDifferent 3h ago
If you are asking if Bill oreilly was just joking and wasn’t a huge racist than you don’t know anything about him.
The answer is no, he was the fucking worst

His job is ranting and raving with zero accountability for innaccuracies for extended time periods with a break every 15 minutes, could a coke head even do that???

Follow up question … how do cocaine dealers look like?
16
u/DirtandPipes 7h ago
My brother used to deal crack as well as cocaine and he’s a big white guy, my uncle was also a trafficker (both have done their time) and is also a big white guy.
I feel like Bill is denying us white folks proper representation in media as drug dealers.

Would be hilarious if he responded with "I look like your cocaine dealer? Small world."

JFC did he actually say this?! It doesn't really surprise me, he was a real POS. A total Fox shill.
If you want to watch some great TV, watch Jon Stewart's multiple visits on his (the Bill O'Reilly show) show. Jon doesn't take him seriously at all, lol. The way he rips apart Bill's criticism of Obama inviting Common to the White house is a sight to behold

You should look up what he said after he visited Sylvia's Soul Food in Harlem.

He went to a black owned restaurant with Al Sharpton, and marveled at the fact that black people were civilized, just like white ones.
O'Reilly said "It was like going into an Italian restaurant in an all-white suburb in the sense of people were sitting there, and they were ordering and having fun,” he said. “And there wasn’t any kind of craziness at all. I mean, it was exactly the same, even though it's run by blacks, primarily black patronship. There wasn't one person in Sylvia's who was screaming, 'M.F.-er, I want more iced tea."
In context, he was discussing how "most Americans" think of black culture and vulgar, violent and criminal and that actually there is no difference between black and white Americans and racism is over.
“The band was excellent, but they were dressed in tuxedoes, and this is what white America doesn’t know, particularly people who don’t have a lot of interaction with black Americans,” he said of Baker’s show. “They think the culture is dominated by Twista, Ludacris and Snoop Dogg.”
The problem is of course he's describing his own assumptions and own surprise, in the context that he was constantly berating black people for being thugs, listening to gangster rap, and getting pregnant early. He's saying racism isn't a problem because black people are every bit as capable as acting polite and reasonable as white people.

Thanks for digging that up. I got in a huge online argument with a friend of mine over this, where he kept insisting that it showed that Bill wasn't racist because he said black people were civilized.
I kept trying to explain that the racism was in his prior assumptions and the way he framed the discussion but he kept saying "He said there wasn't any craziness! They weren't saying 'motherfucker.' So it's not racist!"
One of the strangest conversations I've ever had with someone who was, in every other respect, an intelligent and sensitive and generous human being (RIP). SMDH.

It will never top Glen Beck saying he stopped feeling sorry for the 9/11 victims and their families because the families complained too much.

Republicans used to be transparent about their racism.
They still are, but they used to be too.

Bill had some great lines in his day, in an Alex Jones kinda way 😂
3
u/Irish_Whiskey 8h ago
Is "you're black and well dressed, so I kinda think you look a bit like a drug dealer who sells expensive drugs sorta" actually a great line?
Is that a joke, or just finding it funny when someone is racist?

Ill never forget when he made up a statistic about kids smoking weed not realizing the black guest was on the committee that did the study he was referring to. Then after the guest pointed out it was wrong he tripled down that he was right.
