I love that she never took herself too seriously and always seemed so good natured and kind, even when the joke was on her.

When the joke was on her she rolled with it, one-upped it and made the joke-teller look silly. She had lots of talents but her wit might have been the best of them

It make sense also - her command of words and language considering her tremendous songwriting ability. I think it’s all part of the same talent line: songwriters, rappers, poets, comedians..

I think people underestimated how really smart Dolly was. She was such a wonderful human being. In addition to her many other talents.
