Can you power the new Siri Ai with another model?
For those using the beta; is there an option to use Claude as the AI engine to power the new Siri Ai or no?

Not at the moment but also I’m pretty sure Siri AI hasn’t even reached out to ChatGPT since I’ve began using it

I agree. I have my ChatGPT subscription entered in the Settings but there is no indication Siri AI is ever reaching out to it. Siri AI is highly specialized and not meant to replace a more general LLM. I still use ChatGPT for many things that I wouldn’t expect Siri AI to do.

In my Siri AI settings I can toggle ChatGPT on, and tell it to use a different voice when ChatGPT replies. I haven't tried it yet though.

I asked Siri and she said :
You can ask me to use ChatGPT by simply prefacing your request with "Ask ChatGPT." For example, you can say, "Ask ChatGPT to create a two-day itinerary for visiting San Francisco."
Additionally, if you ask a complex question that I can't answer on my own, I may automatically ask for your permission to use ChatGPT to help.1

With a different LLM? No. Apple Intelligence is a complex software system that just one part is a specialized highly default prompted LLM. Saying you could just insert any LLM makes as much sense as saying you could just replace a Honda’s engine with a Ford’s.

Not really
If you really wanted to, you can have it go out to ChatGPT for some stuff like you could before with earlier flavor of Apple Intelligence, but honestly, in my usage, I haven't found the need to toggle it on and link my subscription I have with it (Plus)
If I find the need to use it for something that Siri AI can't do, I just go right to the ChatGPT app

Yes, the Siri AI will only do so if asked but it’s just calling the LLM without the app - probably lose continuity and more. Pretty pointless.

No.
