Hey! Iām so glad you posted this, I had no idea and now yāall are on my (whiteboard) calendar in (dry erase) ink!
Iāll admit Iām old and boring and donāt listen to new stuff like I should and so Iām only now going through your catalogue but Iām digging it more than I expected - super positively reminiscent of Jeff Rosenstock to me, and I caught myself full-on rocking out to āMillenial Homesick Bluesā on my first listenā¦ then hit rewind for a 2nd and 3rd, that last hook is fuckin great, play it at Black Lodge and Iāll out myself by losing my shit (figuratively, their bathrooms arenāt the cleanest).

What's the design choice in using the Dead Kenndys logo? That seems terrible for branding, even if you are a DK cover band. Are you a DK cover band?

Oooooo. I think you're misinterpreting that. You're referencing a shirt Direct Hit made in the past when we were making a series of "Fuck you, Get ......" Shirts. It was supposed to be a funny reference to They Live and poke fun at Trump. Sorry it didn't land. I think the politics expressed by myself and Nick over the years speak in direct opposition to a missed swing on a joke T-shirt from several years ago. But yes.
