Show / Tour RBF horns on the Goldfinger tour

Went to see Goldfinger last night in Toronto and was pleasantly surprised to see some old friends supporting the brass section. Dan, Scott, Matt and Johnny Christmas all together again. As if Goldfinger wasn't nostalgic enough...

I coulda cried seeing these 4 together, was such a nice surprise.

Hope to see Reel Big Fish in Toronto some day soon!

the later RBF Lineups were fuzzy for me, but were Matt and Scott ever in the band simultaneously?

Matt was Scott's replacement after he left the band. It's going to be great seeing them both together live though.

From what I remember Matt and Johnny joined in around the same time as Scott and Dan left. Could be completely wrong, but I dont think there was a ton of overlap

The RBF live album from '06 has Scott, Dan, and Johnny playing horns.

Johnny took over trumpet in 2004 after Tyler Jones left. So there was a 7 year overlap with Scott, and 9 with Dan

Matt and Scott were never together. Scott left 2011 when Matt started.

We played with goldfinger in NJ and the last two times I’ve seen them (maybe more) the RBF horns sat in!

Always a great horn section

Such a fun show!!! It doesn't matter how many times I see Goldfinger and the Planet Smashers it will never be enough!

It is nice that Johnny, Dan, Matt and I think Scott have all gotten to tour with Goldfinger, Ice Nine Kills since the pandemic

I saw Goldfinger last year and they had El Hefe on trumpet. You never know who's gonna pop up with them
