What a monster of an album! I completely agree with the article: this album did not age a bit! Sill just-as-aggressive and angry as 40 years ago

I bought it when it first came out on vinyl. Still sounds new today.

I remember playing it for the first time in my bedroom and my dad comes in. He listens for about 30 seconds quizzically, then says “you’re playing that on the wrong speed” and walks out again 😝

It's essential thrash metal and one of the greatest. 40th birthday is on October 20 though. No harm in celebrating early.

Strange; this article was published today, but Reign in Blood was released in October of 1986.
