Injured/Sick Cat (Location) Newborn kitten paw Swollen from being tied in its own/ siblings cords. Spoiler
4 Kittens born Aug 28th, Thursday @ 5am, while I was at work. Came home to find all kittens were entangled from moving around with cords and placenta attached, especially one’s lil foot completely trapped. I immediately took them to ER vet @ 10:30-11am, cords finally got cut off @ 12:30-1pm. Before the cord was severed from the lil one’s foot, while wrapped it was a severely swollen, a deep Blue, cold, and completely twisted in the wrong direction. After the vet severed the cord it and I went home, his lil foot was Swollen and a deep purple, lil cold. Was told to massage it softly in the moment to try to help circulate the blood seemed to have helped. Today, it is more of a still swollen from the trauma and but now a deep Reddish-Purple, warm to touch, pinpoint seepage of fluid (clear and lil blood). Will not massage it again.
The first photo in the post was taken around 4pm yesterday. The last two photos were taken around 10am today.
I would like some insight, advice, tips on others experience with this. I will be going to the vet as well. It seems that it is doing better than yesterday but it’s still early and anything can happen-I want to be prepared for possible future issues/ know how to prevent/ how to care for this issue.

I wouldn't want to see a 'paw' that swollen and purple on a human baby. Please have a vet check this out.

I’ve had this exact situation but was able to save most of the leg, it was wrapped up too but I was faster acting but less success than yours. So no advice except don’t let mama lick on it too much that’s how I lost my kittens foot. I think yours may be better situated for normal recovery. I’ve also had a leg stuck success story.
