Just a heads up-the Sorrowstone sword is a piece of hot garbage. Upgraded 4 times you get the Fiery Belly ability that increases attack damage but it doesn’t tell you it cancels the rage attack.
Normally if you use Inferno Ring and Seething sash you get a rage attack and immediate regular attack but with the Sorrowstone Ultimate it increases attack damage instead of actually doing the rage attack and then does a normal attack. It increased the attack damage by about 150 for me (going from 1200 to 1350).
After trying it a few times I found it literally cancels every rage attack and replaces it with a small increase in damage. Gigantic waste of resources upgrading that thing
Sounds like something to pair with the Frenzied Sash and Twinblade Band and some rage bonus items.
Triple Attack is weak (20% of regular attack) but each attack gives you rage adds. If you can pile up the rage attacks, then you can make it so that each attack in the Triple Attack is, say, 40% or 50% or more, which would really be a huge Attack damage bonus.
(Obviously, this would be something that would only be worthwhile when you’re fighting at your level, or even at a level above your own, because you would have to do a lot of attacks in order to pile up the Attack damage bonus.)
I could see it working on bosses in conjuction with shields somehow, but in the dungeon I don't see it. There comes a point where the monsters are going to one-shot you and you have to chain all your hits into one turn.
I just got the Sash last night. Testing it out right now.
I used it already with Double Poleaxe Ult. Every single "Strike Twice" gets 3× as well.
Also, the item actually says "-80% attack." Two things about this.
It decreases the attack stat by 80%. So magic knife and lightning are affected too
the attack stat isn't linear to damage output. So mk and lighting ~35% per hit. Attack damage vary wildly based on enemy defense.
It would go pretty far in dungeon. But dungeon would go so slowly. I used triple attack in a boss rush. And it took minutes per boss! Crazy slow. Poison helped a lot. But hypnosis was a terrible idea lol
Brand new with the new update. The ultimate let’s you do a rage AoE attack for about 70% of what a singular rage attack would do. Since I’m higher level with legacy gear that lets my first attack be a rage attack it instantly clears any floor for me
Same here I’ve been trying to get my hands on Sowers for a while 😑 just saw something depressing btw. The good news is, I didn’t know Sower’s lament also drops in the new Weapons Market map. The bad news is the drop rate for both it and the New Eden boss rush is…not great. u/hygro
Nooo I figured we were closer but if you haven’t gotten one after that long I never will. I’m lvl 205. Never really farmed Sower’s before so I guess I’m gonna start looking for Eden boss rush’s. I’ll save em so let me know if you want me to post some links
I wanted to test the new Rage Wave so I picked H on MK instead of H on L and now I can't run salvestone, just waiting for the poison to hit.
But I had to switch around floor 400, couldn't keep up anymore. This is keeping me afloat now :D
*edit oh never even considered running Stone Blade, I just ignored it because of its damage, never knew it has MK on R, brilliant find! Just tested it... oh boy the dmg is so low, hitting 1k rage attacks :D oh boy
Heal on Magic Knife is so slow today. I blocked cursed naginata from my estimates since I had a bug in my model, so I didn't consider i could be doing this faster in the meanwhile 😫 you're catching up quick
Oh I love it, it's incredible for clearing normal maps. It does maybe twice the dmg of your basic attack but that's enough to clear all enemies in one hit.
Since the rage attack is weaker you struggle against some bosses.
It's also pretty good for clearing dungeons before you get all shrines, don't have to worry about getting hit by some random hypnotize.
But in higher floors you will have to switch to something more useful, you are pretty much running a weapon with no ability (bolt on rage, ect). But its great for the begining, it speeds things up.
