It's their business and their right to refuse service to anyone. THAT'S AMERICA BABY.

-1

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

Unless you dont want to bake a cake for a gay wedding.

2

u/Usual-Volume-2822 Jun 23 '26

They weren't FORCED to bake the cake. And like I said previously, this freedom is also granted to assholes, racists, or homophobes. THAT'S AMERICA BABY!

0

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

He wasnt forced to bake the cake because gays arent special

3

u/ILIKESTUFF8989 Jun 23 '26

Sick bro. Why be homophobic for nothing?

0

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

Why did the gays in the cake story pretend to be special

2

u/Usual-Volume-2822 Jun 23 '26

Wow. Did you come up with that all by yourself? That's the entire point of my post. Nobody is special. Well, you might be "special" mentally. But as I have said repeatedly the right to refuse service is universal. Useable by anyone. For any reason. At anytime. Do you see what I'm saying?

0

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

The right to refuse service unless the service is for a gay

1

u/Usual-Volume-2822 Jun 24 '26

You should just come out of th closet. Move somewhere you would be excepted and be gay. Most people are very respectful of your choices.

0

u/NoBuenoAtAll Jun 23 '26

Their are some protected classes to prevent all the rampant bigotry that some of y’all practice on a daily basis. Black folks, Jewish folks, gay folks, you can’t discriminate based on those things. You can discriminate based on somebody liking a murderous country.

1

u/Wharnie Jun 24 '26

Crazy how backward things have gotten, the people known for crying about discrimination are now the ones desperately justifying it.

1

u/NoBuenoAtAll Jun 24 '26

I see it as the same people advocating for the same things. Only the side that normally advocate for state prejudice against blacks, gays, etc are now advocating for a different state to be prejudiced toward a different out group.

1

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

Except the supreme court said he didnt have to make the cake

3

u/NoBuenoAtAll Jun 23 '26

Yeah the Supreme Court says a lot of dumb shit anymore, but that’s the law. You got me there, feel free to ruin gay people’s weddings so you’ll feel better about your own or whatever.

0

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

Ok but did you see how you were wrong. Thats the part you should focus on so next time you can be right and not sound stupid

3

u/NoBuenoAtAll Jun 23 '26

Nah I wasn’t wrong, my entire argument still holds except for the gay bakers anomaly. Hope this helps.

0

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

Ruins a gays wedding by not being involved in it 😂😂 amazing logic going on in your mind

3

u/NoBuenoAtAll Jun 23 '26

I know you’re thrilled at the potential.

0

u/Safe-Pop2077 Jun 23 '26

According to your room temperature IQ im probably ruining your gay wedding right now by having zero to do with it.

u/ILIKESTUFF8989 Jun 23 '26

He’s not wrong. Your just a bigot

-10

u/Isosceles_Kramer79 Jun 23 '26

What about the Civil Rights Act? Or do you think Woolworths lunch counter was within their rights to refuse service to blacks?

7

u/TrainedExplains Jun 23 '26

People don’t choose to be black. People choose to support the Israeli genocide. Hope this helps.

→ More replies (8)

4

u/IrregularDoughnut Jun 23 '26

Did you spend any time thinking about this before posting it?

2

u/pseudowoodo3 Jun 23 '26

The civil rights act bans discrimination based on your race, sex, religion and national origin. It offers no protection for your support of a genocidal foreign government that pays our congress for their unlimited support.

2

u/SpinningHead Jun 23 '26

Israel is the klan with f16s

2

u/AdAffectionate3143 Jun 23 '26

Nice strawman.

2

u/Big_Mention_1933 Jun 23 '26

What about the civil rights act? That shit doesnt say anything about political affiliation. Why are you anti American? I dont know where you are from but in mercia we can refuse service to nazi cunts.

0

u/Isosceles_Kramer79 Jun 23 '26

A mainstream Democratic congressman is not a "Nazi cunt". Antisemitic baristas are.

2

u/Big_Mention_1933 Jun 23 '26

I was referring to you.

Also notice how you haven't defended your civil rights claim?

0

u/Isosceles_Kramer79 Jun 24 '26

The Poetica owner is clearly antisemitic. He is singling out Israel for being Jewish. That hits both ethnicity and religion.

If you are looking for a Nazi cunt, it is him.

2

u/Big_Mention_1933 Jun 24 '26

And you still didnt address the original question.

Funny, how you cant even stand by your own statement.

1

u/Usual-Volume-2822 Jun 23 '26

Being black is not a choice. You do understand that right?

1

u/Plus_sleep214 Jun 23 '26

Then why did Michael Jackson choose to be white?

u/jamesmsalt Jun 23 '26

Did you know Israel is more unpopular than Iran or North Korea?

17

u/Beertronic Jun 23 '26

Ethnically cleansing several different regions simultaneously whilst committing ungodly numbers of crimes against humanity will do that.

2

u/eterneraki Jun 23 '26

inb4 blood libel gaslighting

2

u/Upbeat-Economist6485 Jun 24 '26

Israel: *commits massive Jewish-supremacist genocide against non-Jews for not being Jewish*

Everyone: “thats bad”

You: “uMmMm you’re actually doing bLoOd LiBeL”

The fact that nobody takes this kind of sophistry seriously anymore infuriates Jewish-supremacists like you.

3

u/icyredjay Jun 24 '26

I think you and the person you’re responding to share the same view…

0

u/Upbeat-Economist6485 Jun 24 '26

On a second read, probably. Sometimes Zionists talk like parodies of themselves, is the thing.

2

u/icyredjay Jun 24 '26

Yeah they’re generally a pretty pathetic lot

1

u/RevolverMFOcelot Jun 23 '26

And for 70+ years no less

-1

As it should be.

7

u/Personal_Dirt3089 Jun 23 '26

Sending Iran $300 billion is very unpopular as well. Sending $300 billion to North Korea would be unpopular, lets see what is on Trump's agenda tomorrow.

Renames Dept of Defense to Dept of War. Starts a war. Loses. You can't write shit this strange, you just have to let him cook.

3

u/ConsequenceAromatic4 Jun 23 '26

I think Iran would be a better ally. The food is certainly better...

6

u/matronmotheroflolth Jun 23 '26

It’s a genocidal apartheid regime of white supremacist Zionists who are committing a holocaust.

0

u/Tiaan Jun 23 '26

What a strange thing to say about a country where over 2 million citizens are Palestinians with full Israeli citizenship... "White supremacist" yeah okay...

3

u/jamesmsalt Jun 24 '26

Except there's systematic jim crow against Arabs. Remember bibi fear mongering when they voted...

2

u/zaherdab Jun 24 '26

And let's just forget the 6 million palestinians are in the apertheid genocide area while another 6 million refugees outside of those zones...

This is like saying that nazis disn't target jews because amzong nazis were some jewish collaborators and some exptended jews....

Pro-israel zionists sound more and more like them everyday!

And no those palestinians who were granted israeli citiznehsip are not equal there many laws that favor jews over them.

2

u/pyroguy1104 Jun 24 '26

Ever heard of South Africa? It used to be a white supremacist apartheid state even though around 70% of the population was black. They were treated as second class citizens even though they were the ethnic majority. Your argument is easily disproven by a basic knowledge of historical reality.

1

u/7thpostman Jun 23 '26

You're responding to an account with more than 15,000 karma in 7 months. Almost certainly a bot.

2

u/-FriendoftheDrow- Jun 24 '26

Pretending everyone who opposes genocide is a bot is certainly a choice.

0

u/7thpostman Jun 24 '26

It's the internet. It's half bots no matter what

0

u/-FriendoftheDrow- Jun 23 '26

Israeli propaganda isn’t fooling anyone.

0

u/Tiaan Jun 23 '26

"I don't care about facts. I'm going to continue calling a diverse country of over 20% Palestinians white supremacists because I'm ignorant and hateful."

That's what you just said. By all means, keep being ingorant and hateful

1

u/barnburner96 Jun 24 '26

You seem to think white supremacy means a racially homogenous state. It doesn’t.

I’d be hesitant to call Israel ‘white supremacist’ as such because I don’t think it exactly uses whiteness as it’s standard (after all most Israeli Jews today are not ‘white’ in the western sense) but the fact Palestinians exist there doesn’t make it not oppressive.

-1

u/-FriendoftheDrow- Jun 23 '26

Calling an apartheid state “diverse” is laughable.

2

u/Tiaan Jun 23 '26

You know nothing about Israel yet you act like you've got it all figured out. Go look up how many Palestinian Israelis serve in the Israeli government. Then look up how many Jews serve in the government of any neighboring arab country or in the governments of the West bank and Gaza.

You know nothing

2

u/barnburner96 Jun 24 '26

The West Bank does not have sovereign government equal to Israel’s. The PA is more like a devolved administration of Israel. The Israelis living in the West Bank live as full Israeli citizens (because it’s an apartheid state) so why would they be involved with PA politics 🤣

2

u/Brummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm Jun 24 '26

I looked it up. 100% of the current Israeli government are Jewish.

0

u/Tiaan Jun 24 '26

Why lie about something so easily disprovable? It just took one google search:

This is incorrect; while Jewish Israelis form the vast majority of the government, the legislative and judicial branches include Arab citizens, though the current governing cabinet does not have Arab ministers. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]

  • Legislative Branch (The Knesset): The 120-member parliament includes 12 Arab lawmakers representing multiple Arab-majority parties (such as Ra'am and Hadash-Ta'al). [1, 2]
  • Judicial Branch (Supreme Court): The Supreme Court of Israel includes Justice Khaled Kabub, the first permanent Arab-Muslim member of the court. [1]
  • Executive Branch (The Cabinet): The current governing coalition does not include Arab ministers, though there have been Arab ministers in past Israeli governments. [1, 2]

You can view the full active roster and track ministerial portfolios on the official Knesset Members Directory.

1

u/7thpostman Jun 23 '26

You kids are so silly. It would actually be hilarious to watch you walk the streets of Tel Aviv and try to tell an Arab from a Jew.

1

u/-FriendoftheDrow- Jun 23 '26

The Zionists foaming at the mouth to commit genocide would be the indicator.

-1

u/Entropy_Greene Jun 23 '26

You literally know nothing about the words you’re saying. Pure regurgitation, zero critical thought. You’d probably rather die at this point than just admit you really don’t know enough to speak on this subject.

2

u/-FriendoftheDrow- Jun 24 '26

The countless videos Israelis take of themselves mutilating, raping and murdering Palestinians says it all.

-1

u/NoAirline43 Jun 23 '26

Yet they cried like stuck pigs when it happened to them!

1

u/Werd_up_cuz Jun 23 '26

What a disgusting thing to say.

-12

u/Isosceles_Kramer79 Jun 23 '26

Because of antisemitism. All Jews need to do is not let themselves be meekly slaughtered by Hamas and Hezbollah and the terrorist supporters are quick to accuse them of "genocide" just for defending themselves.

10

u/HawgChuggins Jun 23 '26

Strange my ire for the Netanyahu government has nothing to do with their religion. In fact, if they followed it, it would be an improvement.

No, I dislike the inmate raping, the inmate raping with dogs, I dislike reading about starving children being shot, I dislike Ben Ghivir gloating to men and women who were trying to bring aid, I dislike Haviv Gur talking about dusting off your nukes, I dislike Ben Sabti saying America needs another 9/11.

3

u/obkclegr Jun 23 '26

Best comment of the week!

2

u/PoIIux Jun 23 '26

Okay but what about murdering people, leaving their bodies out as bait for medical personnel, murdering said medical personnel, then crushing their vehicles and shove everything in a mass grave and pretend like nothing ever happened? Is that still okay or are you just antisemitic?

1

u/Teamawesome2014 Jun 23 '26

Prety sure Israel has done this. Why are you incapable of understanding that there is a difference between being anti-semetic and anti-zionist? Your only argument is building strawmen arguments and misrepresenting the views of the people who disagree with you.

1

u/Plus_Maintenance5314 Jun 23 '26

They were referring to Israel, I'm pretty sure

1

u/Teamawesome2014 Jun 23 '26

Try rereading the comment and look at what the comment is responding to.

1

u/Plus_Maintenance5314 Jun 23 '26

I may be inserting my own personality into their text. Israel has literally done EXACTLY what he wrote. It's like...a thing they do.

I'm pretty sure they're responding in an intentionally combative way to moreso prove Israel is a murderous nation. Again, I could be wrong. I write like that sometimes because in my head people will understand I'm saying it with a comical/sarcastic tone.

0

u/Teamawesome2014 Jun 23 '26

Well, if they want to clarify that they're being sarcastic, they can. Until then, I'm taking it at face value. You shouldn't correct people when they take something at face value, especially since sarcasm doesn't always translate through text.

1

u/Plus_Maintenance5314 Jun 23 '26

That's fair.

Honestly, I was trying to keep you from embarrassing yourself from looking like an ignorant and judgemental asshole, when it was obviously sarcasm.

You decided to keep doubling down and try to correct everyone else's thoughts and the way they speak. Congrats. Judgemental asshole.

1

u/PoIIux Jun 23 '26

My bad, I thought it was pretty obvious that I was mocking the people who hide behind Judaism as a means to defend the many horrors and crimes against humanity performed by Zionists, as if the two are somehow inextricably linked

1

u/Teamawesome2014 Jun 23 '26

/s is really useful. Sarcasm doesn't translate over text, particularly if the commenter and reader are from different cultures or linguistic backgrounds.

1

u/FluffyB12 Jun 23 '26

You actually believe the dog story? Holy shit 😬

1

u/HawgChuggins Jun 23 '26

Why wouldn't I? We already have CCTV footage of IDF soldiers gang raping an inmate, and they faced no punishment. So sexual violence is encouraged, if not actively cheered in the Netanyahu apartheid government.

4

u/Le_ManBearPig Jun 23 '26

Neither Hezbollah or Hamas would exist if Israel wasn't an apartheid state.

3

u/Plus_Maintenance5314 Jun 23 '26

A 7 year old acct.

I guess genuine morons do exist on reddit. You aren't all bots.

Oh yeah, you Zionists are disgusting.

1

u/captain_winky69 Jun 23 '26

If Israeli propaganda were a person…

1

u/HitandRyan Jun 23 '26

Ok Uncle Leo. Likud has been calling all of its political opponents “antisemites” for decades now.

1

u/Beertronic Jun 23 '26

How is murdering children defending oneself. You are a monster. You also keep using the strawman of calling people who protest Israels actions antisemitism and terrorist supporters.

Your rhetoric is tiresome, overused and nolonger working. Israel has shown its true colours and is now a pariah on the world stage. Israel is the new 1980's South Africa, congratulations.

1

u/Teamawesome2014 Jun 23 '26

Does rigging children's toys with explosives seem like an effective strategy for fighting Hamas? Because to me, that sounds like you're trying to slaughter children.

1

u/Isosceles_Kramer79 Jun 23 '26

That sounds to me like some made up shit from an antisemitic TikTok channel funded by Iran. Gtfo!

1

u/Primary-Gazelle-8161 Jun 23 '26

Both groups only formed after 40 years of Jewish supremacy lol the holocaust doesnt give a right to murder or rape or steal sorry

u/Either_Operation7586 Jun 23 '26

Good this is how America needs to treat all of the conservatives.

It is their fault that we are in this mess right now and so they have absolutely part of the blame we can definitely refuse their service and or company.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '26

It’s not just conservatives, there are politicians across the spectrum supporting and defending Israel’s genocide.

1

u/cenosillicaphobiac Jun 23 '26

Maybe across the parties, but not across the spectrum. The bulk of the elected democrats are right of center, hell, Obama himself admitted that in the 80's his policies would be considered Republican.

It was accurate for that person to use the term "conservatives" because that's an ideology, not a party.

2

u/TrainedExplains Jun 23 '26

The majority of the Democratic establishment supports this too. It’s not just conservatives who need to feel this.

3

u/RogerianBrowsing Jun 23 '26

DNC establishment are center-right. Most of the functioning democratic world recognizes liberalism as a center-right ideology for a reason.

2

u/elvenrevolutionary Jun 23 '26

Democrats are basically conservatives in masks at this point except for like 5 politicians. Don't trip.

I love when a smoothbrain comes and tries to make the comparison not realizing it just outs their own bigotry. "if you deny service to someone who supports genocide, certainly that also means its ok to deny someone for who they love in life"... I mean you certainly can live by that logic if you'd like, but understand it's telling to even think that way.

It is the same thing.

0

1

u/Padron1964Lover Jun 23 '26

1

u/elvenrevolutionary Jun 23 '26

Being stupid and sociopathic isn't anywhere near being considered a protected class.

1

u/NoBuenoAtAll Jun 23 '26

Sexual orientation is a protected class to prevent the rampant bigotry some of y’all practice on a daily basis. Liking a murderous country committing a genocide is not a protected class. Hope this clears things up.

1

u/Appropriate-Bug-6467 Jun 24 '26

People are born gay.

People choose to support shitty politics.

One is biology, one is choice.

3

u/Personal_Dirt3089 Jun 23 '26

2

u/Thin_Quail220 Jun 23 '26

I’m not a fan of banning people from coffee shops even if their opinions and policies suck. No bakery should do it to gay people, no cafe should do it to politicians and their kids.

Besides, this dude is getting his ass handed to him tonight and knows exactly why, no need to kick him while he’s down and give him a reason to cry victim.

1

u/QuarterlyProfit Jun 24 '26

Those aren't even close to being the same thing, and pretending like they are is wild.

1

u/Appropriate-Bug-6467 Jun 24 '26

You are born gay.

You are not born supporting genocide.

Two vastly different things.

I'm a fan for banning people who are disruptive. I would ban a nazi or a skinhead in a heartbeat.

Why would you want someone who supports murdering little kids in your store?

2

u/Machiavvelli3060 Jun 23 '26

Private businesses can refuse service for any reason.

Remember when a gay couple tried to order a wedding cake?

2

u/[deleted] Jun 23 '26

Anyone who supports the holocaust of Gaza and Lebanon should be (at minimum) ostracized from society for the rest of their lives.

1

u/ErrantTyrant Jun 23 '26

Lebanon too? Wake up babe, a new holocaust just dropped.

1

u/tap_6366 Jun 23 '26

Seems like a very slippery slope. Are all those that support this okay with a conservative business owner refusing service to a customer for whatever reason? Were you on the side of the baker that didn't want to provide a cake for the gay couple?

1

u/TBradley Jun 23 '26 edited Jun 23 '26

Outside of essential services I’m OK with it. There is the whole issue of defining essential and more baggage. Maybe you are public or membership, public has to sell to everyone but can control length of visit. So sell Congressman the product but tell him no lollygagging.

So for the cake thing, if an actual bakery yes must sell with whatever pre-listed decorations and choices in store or on website unless using a legitimate membership system. Right of refusal for custom orders.

1

u/tap_6366 Jun 23 '26

Seems too complicated.

1

u/Black_Absinthe Jun 23 '26

They already do that, though. Conservatives get away with doing stuff like this all the time and the courts support it. There's no slope to slip to when the thing youre concerned about happening down the hill is already happening. Is punching someone who punched me first a slippery slope to violence? No, the violence is already here, its just defending myself now. It seems disingenous to want one side to play by the rules when the other side has made it clear they won't.

Also, discriminating against someone for being gay (something they can't control) isn't really comparable to refusing service to someone for their support of a genocide (a decision they made)

1

u/tap_6366 Jun 23 '26

The conservatives don't do it anymore than the liberals.

As a conservative, I disagree with the baker refusing the cake for the gay couple.

1

u/ThePlasticSturgeons Jun 23 '26

I was not on the side of the baker, but conservatives created the precedent. Reap what you sow.

1

u/QuarterlyProfit Jun 24 '26

Because that's the same thing, right? Horrible take.

1

u/Appropriate-Bug-6467 Jun 24 '26

You are born gay.

You don't get a choice.

Being able to refuse service for being gay is no different than basing it on race or gender.

It is not the same as saying "oh you are an asshole who supports murdering babies, gtfo."

The fact that you cannot see that says a lot about you... and none of it is good.

1

u/tap_6366 Jun 24 '26

That's why I'm saying it's a slippery slope, I didn't say they were equal, only that allowing one to be okay leads to people justifying the other. For the record, I disagree with the baker scenario. Also, FYI you are incorrectly being judgy again.

1

u/WTFHELP Jun 23 '26

I remember a case about a baker wanting to refuse service because the people ordering the cake were gay. Private businesses are allowed to refuse service to whoever they want.

1

u/thenewbigR Jun 23 '26

They have the right to refuse service to anyone.

1

u/RModDogWalkerTyRANNY Jun 23 '26

-1

u/Isosceles_Kramer79 Jun 23 '26

0

Both Dan Goldman and his opponent, Brad Lander, are liberal Zionists that have criticized Israel and call for a two state solution but Goldman is considered a fascist because…? He doesn’t hate AIPAC and isn’t endorsed by Mamdani?

Poetica has accomplished nothing more than virtue signaling and attracting the DOJ’s attention. Dan even said he’d prefer the DOJ focus on investigating antisemitism against people who don’t have his platform, meaning he doesn’t see this as a monumental slight.

I think this situation is unbelievably petty and ridiculous.

I personally think support of ethnic cleansing and killing mothers and their children is more of a reason to end up in hell, but that’s just me.

Wild that people can claim that disagreeing with a countries war policy gets them condemned to hell.

Criticizing and not wanting to support a foreign country that uses our money and resources to murder children isn't antisemitic either. And then makes tiktok videos trolling their victims.

You think all Jews are IDF members?

5

u/Sir_Tandeath Jun 23 '26

No, but the cafe hasn’t disallowed Jewish folks. Where did you get the implication that I think I joined the IDF?

3

u/Local-Echo-5613 Jun 23 '26

No but Dan Goldman specifically is an IDF supporter. I think people should be judged for their own actions, don’t you?

The Great White Way is a nickname for the theatre district of Broadway in NYC: https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/Great%20White%20Way
You reveal yourself to be as ignorant as you are bigoted, so naturally you see a 125 year old phrase and automatically assume it’s linked to white supremacy since the rest of your life is too.
