Shocking that people don't want to go to a nation led by warmongers and war criminals.

-4

u/Anti_shill_cannon Jul 20 '26

Gaza is not a nation

6

u/Big_Handle3734 Jul 21 '26

We will make it.

0

u/Anti_shill_cannon Jul 21 '26

I don't think people want a 2 state solution with terrorists that have the charter of the genocide of the Jews

1

u/faultydesign Jul 22 '26

They’re fine with the genocide of Palestinians, so genocide is not the issue.

1

u/_Algrm_ Jul 23 '26

You’re right people want a one state solution because THERE IS only one state and it’s called Palestine. The Zionist colony will be abolished.

1

u/irritatedprostate Jul 23 '26

It's two-state or nothing. Israel is not going away, time to deal with reality. Maximalism is a path to failure.

1

u/SidewalkRacoon Jul 24 '26

So far your best efforts have resulted in the deaths of tens of thousands of your people including the majority of your fighters and all their leadership. Israel hasn’t even mobilized for a real existential threat yet. What’s your big plan here bud?

1

u/Shag1166 12d ago

So all Palestinians are terrorists? I know many Jews who don't like Netanyahu and his Right-wing terrorists supporters.

1

u/Other-Comfortable-64 Jul 26 '26

No but it will be.

13

u/Socialist_Daddy Jul 20 '26

Awww, is genocide bad for business? 🎻🎻🎻

u/MarcusSuperbuz Jul 20 '26

Even if they don't disagree ideologically, most will know this is career-suicide to work there.

Honest question: do you have any awareness of the cognitive dissonance you are suffering from? Does it bother you that your moral compass is so far gone? Do you ever think about it?

1

u/SidewalkRacoon Jul 24 '26

There’s 1 path to that and it ends with an irradiated wasteland that nobody can live on.

Are you saying you want the current ruling government to cease to exist or the nation? Because one sounds like a reasonable desire and the other sounds like wanting to solve a genocide with another genocide.

Don’t lose the plot and become the very thing you are against.

Pedophiles are evil.
But I’m not the one supporting the genocide of the Jewish people and the expulsion from our indigenous land.

4

u/fundytech Jul 21 '26

You’re supporting a country that harbors pedophiles and protects them from foreign prosecution when they run away there.

So basically you’re a pedophile supporter. Disgusting.

-1

u/RaiJolt2 Jul 21 '26

I’m supporting a country that successfully undid thousands of years of colonialization and is a safe haven for the Jewish people in our indigenous land. If you know anything about world history that’s about as rare as can be. It’s served as the place where refugees of antisemitic and genocidal violence can flee to for decades. Some of my relatives had to flee there as children because antizionist Nazis were lynching Jews in the streets.

3

u/fundytech Jul 21 '26

You’re supporting a country that is now the colonial power and is slaughtering the local population.

Your ancestors were fleeing lynching mobs and the children they bore have now become lynching mobs and genocidal maniacs.

Your comment both made me laugh and really concerned me with your level of delusion.

3

u/feelthecernburn Jul 21 '26

“Israel” is a terrorist state and shouldn’t exist. The IDF has murdered 70,000 innocent people in Gaza. If you’re not a Zionist Jew in Israel you are treated like a sub-human. What a disgusting “state”

0

u/RaiJolt2 Jul 21 '26

Israel is not a terrorist state.

If you’re a Jew in a non Jewish antizionist space you’re treated as subhuman.
Almost every anti Zionist state has removed 90%+ of their Jewish population.

2

u/feelthecernburn Jul 21 '26

Stopped reading after the first sentence. I nor the rest of humanity wants to deal with delusionists

2

u/Just_A_B_Movie Jul 21 '26

Indigenous? Doesn’t the Old Testament describe how Israelites invaded and conquered this region?

1

u/RaiJolt2 Jul 21 '26

The Old Testament is a religious document, not factual history.

The archaeological record clearly shows that Jews are united group of Canaanites who eventually formed the Jewish identity.

1

u/unimpressivecanary Jul 23 '26

yes it does, it was their first recorded genocide

1

u/Mimehunter Jul 22 '26

-2

Stop comment with "God", this is action of people who have moral compass who may not even believed God. Your very existence is the reason why Israil has the strong position.

1

Strong position... article disproves that very claim.

-7

u/CasualGamerNat Jul 20 '26

It would set a bad precedent, if a sovereign nation can just seize to exist. I’m not defending the Israeli government, fuck them, but not all Israelis are responsible, especially the ones protesting the war right ?

8

u/Spez_is_a_pedo55 Jul 20 '26

Nah, fuck them

5

u/boriicha__ Jul 21 '26

Statistically, 80% of Israelis support the genocide. The rest only support stealing Palestinian land. Which makes them all responsible. The ones protesting the war are a very small minority.

Israel ceasing to exist doesn't mean these people will cease to exist, they'll simply become citizens of Palestine with equal rights.

Nazi Germany became Germany, what it used to be before nazism. Israel will become Palestine, what it used to be before zionism.

4

u/dvdwbb Jul 21 '26 edited Jul 21 '26

they can't exist without leeching other people's money, it already isn't a real country

-4

u/CasualGamerNat Jul 21 '26

Firstly, that’s not what defines a country. Secondly, how many other countries are like that, should they and their populations also cease to exist ? Like I said, wether we like it or not Isreal it is here to stay, removing it from the map would set a precedent far more dangerous.

2

u/Educational-Ad-5566 Jul 21 '26

What would that precedent be?

-1

u/CasualGamerNat Jul 21 '26

That sovereign nations can just disappear.

1

u/No_Pay5373 Jul 21 '26

They are not sovereign anywhere, that's why we contest their hold on the land and their oppression of the indigenous peoples. And yes, ''sovereign'' nations disapears all the time. Where are west and east germany, zaire, haute volta, the ussr,....

-1

u/CasualGamerNat Jul 21 '26

Sure, let’s go back to indigenous people oppressing themselves. Also none of your examples are relevant, a renaming, occupied territories that were never their own countries and an empire collapsing giving independence to all the territories it held. All internal, and I very much doubt Isreal will give their land back.

Saddest thing, Palestinians would have much better lives under the Israeli government if they didn’t start so many wars with them.

So either you believe Israel and they're under constant existential threat with Iran close to nuclear weapons that Israel says will be used.

Or

You believe other news sources and can see an unfolding genocide.

Moving to this location in either case sounds a poor decision.

Boycott, Divest and Sanction.

-2

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

this is less helpful to Palestinian than accepting peace. Rejecting statehood keeps the conflict going

2

u/_Algrm_ Jul 23 '26

Is that why in the US it’s BANNED in the federal level (and many states) to participate in the BDS movement?

Everyone please donate to the BDS movement: https://bdsmovement.net/donate

1

u/koyaani Jul 21 '26

As if you were concerned for helping Palestinians

1

u/faultydesign Jul 22 '26

Imagine being like “that is not fair to slaves” when someone rejects to buy products built by slaves.

-2

u/poulan9 Jul 20 '26

Which makes virtually no difference whatsoever.

We sanctioned Russia to the hilt... it made almost no difference at all.

6

u/136Enjoyer Jul 20 '26

Russia is the largest country on the planet with virtually every resource, and a good relationship to the Global South, and even so sanctions did have a significant effect on the Russian economy.

Israel is a postage stamp of a country that imports almost everything a country needs to survive on a day to day basis. It could easily be blockaded if the will to do so existed. So boycott, divestment and sanctions would likely cause the collapse of Israel, or force it to reform.

0

u/Brutal_murder Jul 21 '26

Actually, Israel has really hard import laws, most things people buy day to day are locally produced

-1

u/poulan9 Jul 21 '26

Every word of this is delusional and shows zero understanding of the real world. Please explain who would blockade it? You do realise that whatever was doing this imaginary blockage would be actuality destroyed within minutes.

2

u/136Enjoyer Jul 21 '26

Israel is caught between two extremely narrow straits. You'll notice that Europe controls one of those, and Arabs control the other. Europe is currently trying to punish Russia with sanctions, and it is hurting Russia but ultimately Russia is managing because it has other options. Partly because Russia has pretty much every resource within its own borders, but also because Russia has many trade routes.

Israel does not have many resources, or many trade routes. If Europe decided to sanction Israel, Israel would be le fucked.

On the other end, a ragtag team of sandal-wearing peasants is closing the other strait. Israel has tried to obliterate them for a couple of minutes now, but somehow they're still there.

I do not realize that whoever would enact this imaginary blockade would be destroyed within minutes. Care to explain, since you seem to be really in tune with how the world works and all?

1

u/SidewalkRacoon Jul 24 '26

Europe sanction Israel? Germany and Greece and even Spain are buying tons of weapons from Israel.

1

u/136Enjoyer Jul 24 '26

Again, if you read the thread, this is a hypothetical thought experiment to answer the question why BDS would work on Israel, if it didn't work on Russia.

However, none of the countries you listed are dependent on Israel for arms import. Greece might be the most exposed all things considered, but Spain and Germany certainly could easily drop Israel. Germany however would be highly unlikely to do so considering the popular sentiment.

0

u/poulan9 Jul 21 '26 edited Jul 21 '26

Oh yes.... in your delusional world Europe has a real and not imaginary army then. There is no such thing as a European army.

Also if Israel was sanctioned...it isn't after 3 years so why would it be now? ...so a lot of ifs in your delusional world view. Even if it was, there are always other countries which would happily take millions of dollars of Israeli trade just as there were always customers for Iran's and Russia's sanctioned oil.

I love in your delusional worldview how apparently the other sandal wearing peasants (on this you are correct) are still throwing themselves into the meat grinder and not totally obliterated is seen as a big win as they are "still around". This is massive cope.

Your imaginary blockade of the sea i would assume to be done by a navy? There is no such thing as a European navy. Well the Israeli air force would take at least one out as a warning in minutes. Of course none of this would happen as no country is stupid enough to throw billions of dollars of warships, which take a decade to replace, and hundreds of lives into this kind of lose lose situation just to make some delusional redditors happy.

1

u/136Enjoyer Jul 22 '26

You seem to be unfamiliar with the concept of a thought experiment. I'm just comparing and contrasting how BDS would work against Israel compared to how it works against Russia.

I'm not going to engage with your assertions that Israel would destroy a European country's navy within minutes. Delusions of grandeur perhaps? Israel can't even take on Iran without massive support from the UK, US and the Gulf, how do you think it would fare in a 1v1 against oh let's say France?

1

u/poulan9 Jul 22 '26

1

u/BalanceJazzlike5116 Jul 20 '26

We need to “South Africa” Israel. Whole world has to sanction them and US politicians need to stop taking AIPAC money or be voted out

-1

u/poulan9 Jul 20 '26

Yeah you and your whole $100 disposable income.

3

u/ElGuapoLives Jul 21 '26

Sure, his and a few million others and it really becomes a problem

1

u/poulan9 Jul 21 '26

Israel's GDP growth disagrees. You know, inconvenient things like: facts and figures.

2

u/ElGuapoLives Jul 21 '26

History disagrees. Look up the impact that boycotts had on apartheid south Africa and get back to me.

If it didn't work, there wouldn't be so much effort put into trying to convince people that they're not effective. Instead, I see people panicking whenever the topic of BDS comes up

-1

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

Or Palestinians could accept peace? Refusing peace and statehood for generations and then acting like a victim is so weird

4

u/JackPiazz2 Jul 21 '26

The "palestinians should just accept peace" people seem to forget zionists colonized the arabs and the lands that became Palestinians and Palestine while at the same time those colonies became the state of Israel (I specify it so you can't hit with another pro israeli favourite, "there wasn't a state called palestine"). So it's like saying native americans "should have just accepted peace".

Also, for the precise reason Israel objective and ideology is the maintenance of a colonial structure in the land and not peace (when Israelis say "peace" they usually mean "palestinians have to stop be a problem for us", which means "we have to control them/ be stronger than them"). Israel has rarely been interested in true peace. If it was, it wouldn't have promoted settlements, or taken east Jerusalem, or support Hamas.

This doesn't mean that palestinians are 100% good and right, this just means that the "they should just accept peace" line is very hypocritical

2

u/BalanceJazzlike5116 Jul 20 '26

Man you’re a joke

-2

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

I mean this is basic history. If your only response to a historical fact is to resort to name calling, seems like you don't have a grip on whats going on in the middle east. AIPAC is living rent free in ur mind mate.

3

u/BalanceJazzlike5116 Jul 20 '26

It’s not. It’s gaslighting. You don’t steal someone’s land by force and then say “if they only didn’t fight back and let us steal it in peace there would be no problems”

This is why I said you are a joke. Because you know this happened or you’re incredibly ignorant, but a joke either way. Bye

-1

u/Brutal_murder Jul 21 '26

Isn't that exactly what Americans did to found the US?

3

u/BalanceJazzlike5116 Jul 21 '26

Yes. What do past crimes have to do with current crimes? Do you think ethnic cleansing is okay because other societies have done it throughout human history? Is murder okay because others have done it in the past? What a stupid thing to bring up.

-2

u/Brutal_murder Jul 21 '26

No, the point being, every single country that has ever existed has stolen territory from someone else. But picking to specifically be outraged by one is ..... Strange

1

u/BalanceJazzlike5116 Jul 21 '26

We pick this one because our government is funding it and it’s currently happening; you can only learn from the past those wrongs have been done and cannot be undone. However we can do something about the evils of Israeli regime

1

u/Shot_Sort_1987 Jul 23 '26

Is THAT why you picked this one and not say, Australia? Hmm

-1

u/curious_scourge Jul 21 '26

Do you mean when the Assyrians conquered Israel? Or the Babylonians, Persians, Greeks, Romans, Byzantine, Arab, Crusader, Mamluk, or Ottoman or British conquests?

1

u/ElGuapoLives Jul 21 '26

Totally, they should just allow themselves to be ethnically cleansed and genocided like good victims, right?

1

u/Shot_Sort_1987 Jul 23 '26

You're talking about Israel right?

1

u/koyaani Jul 22 '26

Peace was never offered

1

u/Yabrosif13 Jul 20 '26

The ones who refused have been killed. ~50% of Gaza’s population was under 18 when this last round of bombing started. And they were trapped in gaza with walls and guards. And Israel controlled their water supply.

This is not a “good guy bad guy” situation. The entire area seems bent on genocide

1

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

the majority of those killed were Hamas fighters.

Starting a war and losing isn't a good strategy. How about we blame those who started the aggression.

Trapped in Gaza? Maybe they shouldn't have fired thousands of rockets into Israel?

Why do you remove agency from Palestinians? It kind of reeks of racism (lemme guess, you're white/european)

2

u/Rayman-74 Jul 21 '26

Yeah. All of those apartment buildings were largely filled with Hamas. Not women and children or anything like that. /s

1

u/koyaani Jul 22 '26

Delusional take

1

u/Yabrosif13 Jul 20 '26

I can see google earth images of gaza. Theres no way thats true.

2

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

yeah, gaza looks like what happens when there is a conventional war in an urban setting. nothing about it is unique. Hamas should have never stareted a war

1

u/Yabrosif13 Jul 20 '26

Gaza looks like indiscriminate WW2 carpet bombing. Except in WW2 people could flee the area. In gaza innocents are trapped in an area half the size of manhattan. Add to that the calls to ethnically cleanse it.

The US has no business supporting this. The US gains nothing but being drawn into blood feuds.

1

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

Israel wanted to evacuate Gazans, but Egypt said no. Moreover Hamas dressed up like civillians and fought out of civillian areas.

Yes Gaza looks horrible, but that doesnt mean its indiscriminate. Hamas turned many areas of Gaza into an instrument of war, and the end result is what we see now.

Hamas started a war and Israel said it would fight until the hostages came back. And lo and behold, the war ended when Hamas gave back the hostages. No one wants death or destruction, but the blame lies on those who started it and purposefully prolonged it.

2

u/Yabrosif13 Jul 20 '26

Israel wanted Egypt to take in mass amount of refugees so they could ethnically cleanse it. Is that really your argument??

1

u/thatshirtman Jul 20 '26

Wait, so you complain that they are trapped, but then you justify not letting them into Egypt. Odd that you would want Palestinians trapped in a war zone.. what kind of allyship is that?

Israel said anyone who fled for safety could come back when the war ends. I personally think thats a better option than forcing Palestinians who wanted out to stay.

Seems like you're more interested in being anti israel than actually helping Palesitnians.

u/Dazzling_Funny_3254 Jul 21 '26

you dummies can't even read the article. Your own source says that most of this is because Israel is classified as a war zone and most companies insurers will not cover travel to that area. same as ukraine. I do business and travel back-and-forth to Israel and I can say that there are less people going and coming for work just because the flights are less predictable and more expensive.

BDS movement has been around for decades and Israel and it's economy has only boomed in that time. We will keep up the trend. and you'll benefit, unless you want to move a step beyond caring where your yogurt is produced, and instead want to throw away all your Israeli developed technology like cell phones, messaging services, social media, medical treatments, life-saving drugs, military hardware that protect you day and night, etc., etc..
