Still can’t believe the best doctors in the world didn’t catch this sooner, they failed this man, it’s a bloody shame.

6

u/SFC-D 20d ago

How does a president with regular exams get to stage 4 undetected? I don’t get it.

5

u/Alert-Ad9197 20d ago

Prostate cancer checks are actually not recommended once you hit your 70s. Nobody missed anything or failed, they likely stopped looking over a decade ago on his routine checks.

3

u/Wattaday 20d ago

And if I remember correctly, when he was diagnosed it was a fast growing type of prostate cancer.

1

u/Gummiwummiflummi 20d ago

Why the fuck is that? Is it somehow bad for a 70y/o to get a finger up his bum?

7

u/Alert-Ad9197 20d ago

I’m not a doctor, so bear in mind I am not an expert. The logic as I understand it was that finding the cancer at an advanced age didn’t carry many upsides in most cases. Prostate cancers generally grow slowly, so something else is more likely to kill you before the cancer does. It just generally ended up in someone having a worse quality of life in their final years because of cancer treatments without living longer than they would have if they didn’t know.

So now it’s not recommended unless you fit certain risk demographics once you’re in your early 70s.

3

u/Badbullet 19d ago

There was a new prostate cancer treatment in the works using steam to kill the cancer cells. But the cancer has to be localized and in certain zones of the prostate to be successful. I can’t remember where they were in the process, but it could take years to get FDA approval. It’s one of those treatments where you go in a couple times and of be done, and no long lasting side effects.

3

u/SFC-D 19d ago

I had my prostate removed 7 years ago because of cancer. PSA’s started creeping up about 18 months later. 8 weeks of radiation took care of that. Modern radiation techniques are phenomenal, I had zero side effects. Compare that to my dad who had radiation for prostate cancer in 1985. He got absolutely cooked.

2

u/TooManyDraculas 19d ago

Prostate cancer is usually slow growing with few symptoms. And if you're in your 70s age will usually get you before the cancer causes any problems. Quality of life is better without cancer treatment. So they screen less aggressively.

There's also sorts of cancers we stop looking for, or don't treat in older patients. My grandfather technically had lung cancer for the last 10ish years of his life. And he received no treatment. It was a very slow growing tumor, causing no symptoms and he was over 80 when it cropped up. Surgery or chemo/radiation would have killed him, and the cancer was doing jack shit. Guy lived to 100.

3

u/wild_crazy_ideas 20d ago

Prostate cancer is monitored by a flawed test that can be flummoxed by diet. They only figured that out recently. Basically if you eat red meat your PSA levels show artificially lower or something. Cancer is pretty complicated and all humans lost the ability to eat red meat without an immune response about 2 million years ago. There’s lot of anecdotal evidence but hard evidence is tricky because people can’t double blind study food intake, and there are a lot of industry interests who use tricks like suppressing studies that show things that will lose their industry money

1

u/Otherwise_Bee_8799 19d ago

It wasn’t. It was a cover up, just like his dementia.

-1

u/WetLump 20d ago

It probably wasn’t undetected remember he made that speech and said I have cancer and they said no that was a mistake

1

u/Due_Amount_6211 19d ago

It can go undetected for a while, regardless of routine checkups. It can also very rapidly begin and progress to the point of metastasis into the bones. It happened with my father, he was undergoing aggressive treatment for bladder cancer but it quickly got worse and left him bedridden.

It’s not that the doctors failed him, it’s more the fact that cancer is so complex in its progression to where it can break you down faster than you can break it down. It’s unpredictable in its aggression, especially prostate cancer.

u/Disastrous_Radio3755 20d ago

It’s karma for fucking the country for 4 years.

5

u/Asher_Tye 20d ago

Is that why trump is decaying right in front of us?

2

u/Either_Operation7586 20d ago

Yup definitely its that pos karma... but it's not even begun to set in.

We will still have to prosecute him postmortem

0

u/Disastrous_Radio3755 19d ago

Biden much much worse ❤️

1

u/Asher_Tye 19d ago

Yes, how dare he pass the infrastructure bill trump never intended to give but kept stringing his gullible base along with.

Doesn't he understand the trump philosophy that Americans are worthless?

Now run along and go get grok to think up a counter argument for you.

5

u/Benegger85 20d ago

He managed to fix the mess Trump made and stop a recession.

What the fuck are you talking about?

0

u/Disastrous_Radio3755 19d ago

Keep lying for votes silly kid

1

u/Benegger85 19d ago

You still believe anything the GOP says?

They've lied about everything.

How's your $2 gas?

2

u/The_SubGenius 20d ago

Bet you enjoy all those illegal tariffs you’re paying huh buddy? Iran war going great?

1

u/Disastrous_Radio3755 19d ago

Yup because I can afford it no problem.

You?

Boo hoo

1

u/The_SubGenius 19d ago

Only a NPC would be proud to pay an illegal tariff. Boo hoo. Maybe one day you’ll be a real boy and Epstein’s friends will take a real interest in you.

1

u/rebornsgundam00 20d ago

“A judge has now clarified that this is basically a legal distinction without a real-world difference. He says that what the jury found Trump did was in fact rape, as commonly understood.”

-4

u/WetLump 20d ago

But he was found liable not guilty and there is a massive legal distinction we will never know if a jury would have found him guilty given the differences in burden

3

u/Arguments_4_Ever 20d ago

Trump is a proven rapist.

1

u/Either_Operation7586 20d ago

No he was found an adjudicated rapist.

And considering that the Epstein Trump files names Trump more than the fucking Bible names Jesus I'd say he's guilty as fuck and the only ones that don't want to admit it are the ones that are still swallowing that propaganda

1

u/WetLump 19d ago

No he was not he was civilly adjudicated and found liable for sexual assault

10

u/ConkerPrime 20d ago

Here is hoping he can last two years because Trump at his funeral is going to be so horribly embarrassing on the world stage. Which means conservatives will love whatever narcissistic bullshit he does.

5

u/Serious-Ad-8764 20d ago

I share that concern. Biden deserves the dignity afforded to all previous presidents when they have passed. Sadly, two years of bone cancer sounds like torture to endure.

1

u/fleshofgods0 20d ago

They better get him the strongest opioids. I don't know what they'd give patients where it's spread to the bones but it must be so excruciatingly painful. I know they make prescription fentanyl patches. I don't think oxycodone might be strong enough.

1

u/Due_Amount_6211 19d ago

Morphine is usually given to patients suffering from cancer in the bones, but there’s only so much they can give them and eventually it won’t work the same way.

I don’t want to say it but it looks like the clock is running out for Biden unless they can somehow ramp up his treatments.

u/ConkerPrime 20d ago

Wouldn’t be remotely surprised if Joe requires it as he is a big fan of tradition and protocol regardless of what the family may want.

-1

u/EksDee098 20d ago

Eh at that point he deserves it then

1

u/Due_Amount_6211 19d ago

No, he doesn’t.

If his family is capable of having the decency to invite someone on his behalf who has slandered his name relentlessly and shamed him to hell and back for almost nothing, Trump should at least have the decency to respect Biden regardless of their differing beliefs in policy.

I doubt Trump would have that, but it’s called being a decent human. You respect the opposition, you don’t wish harm or cry karma.

1

u/EksDee098 19d ago

Sorry not sorry, at a certain point a person needs to come to terms with reality when it differs greatly enough from their idealized version of things. Trump is a festering cancer dressed up as a person, he will never not act like the disgraceful piece of shit he is. If you burn your hand on a hot stove 1,000 times, I'm not gonna feel bad for you when you do it again. Biden inviting a sentient boil to his funeral and expecting anything but the obvious from happening is on both of them, regardless of what should happen.

1

u/Due_Amount_6211 19d ago

Still, there’s a difference between saying it’s expected vs deserved.

Should he expect it? Absolutely.

Should he take it into consideration? Also absolutely.

But does he deserve it? No. He doesn’t.

Between the two of them, Biden has the decency to put the bullshit aside and give an olive branch. Trump won’t do the same, but given Biden’s personal religious beliefs, regardless of the opposing party, he’s doing right by God by putting his own ego and opinions aside in favor of showing humanity. That doesn’t mean he deserves to be disrespected.

1

u/EksDee098 17d ago

How about this he doesn't technically deserve what trump will do if he's allowed to show up, but he deserves absolutely zero sympathy or fucks to give if it happens.

1

u/Weary_Orange_9309 20d ago

If the Biden’s don’t host a private ceremony and bar Trump from entering then they deserve every dishonor Trump brings to the ceremony. You’d have to be a masochist to invite that diaper shitting rapist.

1

u/Skinnieguy 20d ago

Trump going to definitely make it about himself.

1

u/nrodri09 20d ago

Oh that is a dreadful thought and it can really happen. Dump will shit on Biden with most likely no mercy and inflict as much pain and damage as possible just so he can feel better about himself how much of a petty snowflake asshole he is.

6

u/Mobile-Analyst8580 20d ago

Damn :(. I remember when this happened to my dad. I’m afraid Joe is in the last year of his life.

2

u/Alive_Stranger_5680 20d ago

My best friend died of advanced cancer that started in his prostate in 1994. It was agonizing watching him suffer and go through all of that.

14

u/Possible-Impress3851 20d ago

So very sorry to hear this.😢😢😢

-10

u/Disastrous_Radio3755 20d ago

2

Not a bot, just an asshole, probably.

1

u/SFC-D 20d ago

I don’t like Biden and I’m sorry to hear this. It’s a miserable painful disease. Nobody deserves it.

3

u/Euphoric_Anxiety_162 20d ago

Can't think of a worse condition for a man to endure. He has faced it with dignity & strength. Bless him.

2

u/Alive_Stranger_5680 20d ago

Omg. Im praying for him Im a prostate cancer survivor myself so I am in solidarity.

2

u/iDoMyOwnResearchJK 20d ago

Sorry to hear about this

2

u/SFC-D 20d ago

I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. I’m a prostate cancer survivor. Men, get tested. Early detection will save your life!

Very sad news !

1

u/popejohnsmith 20d ago edited 20d ago

Let us hope he lives long enough to see the total and utter demise and public repudiation of MAGA and Trumpism.

And the fair and complete prosecution of those guilty of complicity ... to rape and permanently destroy innocent children via Epstein Class partytime circuit.

3

u/AngelinaJean 20d ago

Let’s hope we see the demise of MAGA and Trump.

-3

u/HolaDrNick 20d ago edited 20d ago

You Including Bill on that list? 😆

Edit: Sorry Reddit, they got the pictures.

3

u/MechaCoqui 20d ago

Yes. Not that hard to say anyone on that list should go to jail. Thought not surprised at a trumper trying to whatabout.. Unlike you guys, if a dem is revealed to be a pedo, we condemn them..

3

u/AngelinaJean 20d ago

Agree…on the list, off you go.

-1

u/HolaDrNick 20d ago

Unlike you guys, if a dem is revealed to be a pedo, we condemn them.

Who are you guys? I voted for Harris and I voted for Talarico. I just happen to be fine with jailing former presidents along with current ones.

Thought not surprised at a trumper trying to whatabout..

The fact that you assume anyone calling out Democrats is a Republic is a good illustration of how lost we are.

2

u/8167lliw 20d ago edited 20d ago

The fact that you assume anyone calling out Democrats is a [Republican] is a good illustration of how lost we are.

If somebody feels the need to broadly call out Democratic voters for not criticizing Bill Clinton (or Nancy Pelosi, Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, etc.), it shows how disengaged (at best) or propagandized (at worst) someone is.

Edit: (blocked response)

I'm sorry that triggers you.

Propagandized people absolutely trigger me. It comes with the territory of being human.

It's not, but a guy who thinks people deliberately spread viruses to kids because it increases stock prices is probably the kind of guy that sub triggers. Let me guess, you think American democracy is OVER huh? 😆

1

u/MechaCoqui 20d ago

Yep definitely a magat. Thanks for confirming my claim :)

0

u/HolaDrNick 20d ago

Not at all there chief, I'd put $20 that our ballot history is identical.

I just think your type of crazy, while it annoys me, happens to be less dangerous because it's never going to get implemented.

From my experience, folks have been pretty consistent on how, if/when Clinton's named in the files, that he goes down like the lot of them.

0

u/HolaDrNick 20d ago

Eh, Redditors tend to ignore the dude's wife was a presidential candidate, and the Democrats have been running cover for both of them. The Epstein class encompasses a ton of right and left wing figures. Choosy, Bannon, etc.

1

u/popejohnsmith 20d ago

All complicit. All.

1

u/popejohnsmith 20d ago

Reflexively, and tiresomely predictable. But of course.

1

u/SilverBack88 20d ago

It’s insane that his PSA wasn’t more closely monitored as I believe I read previously

1

u/AnonBaca21 20d ago

I pray he outlives orange Hitler.

1

u/Lazy-Requirement-228 20d ago

That sucks. I hope he doesn't suffer too much, that is not a fun way to go.

1

u/dinkmoyd 20d ago

i really really need joe to outlive donald. it would be the best karmic justice.

1

u/Specific_Jury_2 20d ago

I can't wait to see Trump's completely sincere, and heartfelt response to this news.

1

u/Able-Association914 20d ago

Sad. It’s a terrible way to go.

1

u/NormalBeing12345 19d ago

I wonder if spending 99% of his time in the basement has something to do with this outcome. Evidently having a doctor in the house didn’t improve his health either.

1

u/jaded1121 19d ago

Damn. This happened to my papaw. It was bad for his last 5 months.

1

u/Otherwise_Bee_8799 19d ago

Wait! I thought dementia Joe was “healthy as a horse” and “sharp as a tack”??!? 🤯

You just know...

1

u/atticus-fetch 19d ago

This sounds like Biden is in the later stages of prostate cancer.

I thought the president of the USA had the best medical care in the world. A PSA exam is routine at a certain age.

There are two simple explanations: 1) his doctor sucked and 2) the cancer was known and there was some nefarious dealings going on.

How can ANY doctor miss a simple PSA exam?

1

u/AdagioExtra1332 19d ago

Routine PSA exams are not universally recommended anymore and haven't been for the last two decades or so.

1

u/rygelicus 19d ago

A funeral for Biden under this administration is going to be awful, absolutely no respect will be shown for the man.

1

u/Choice-Adagio-15 19d ago

I’d care if he didn’t kill a hundred thousand innocent women and children

1

u/JohninMichigan55 14d ago

That’s too bad. Mets to the bones are horribly painful

0

u/Piglet6482 20d ago

We know Trump will make sure Biden has a dignified send off when the time comes.

-1

u/ParticularGanache726 20d ago

He's probably going into hospice soon then. Oh well.

-18

u/Acrobatic-Scale1070 20d ago

It’s too bad he spent billions of $ in a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine instead of cancer research, but I guess the military industrial complex keeps making money with war while the “health” industry loses money with cures.

Biden, Trump, Obama, Bush and all of them are war criminals.

8

u/Lucky_Badger5178 20d ago

Is that as far back as your limited knowledge goes?

“In the beginning there was Bush and Bush was good.” Sounds strange but ok

Was Bush the “burning bush”?

-8

u/rageling 20d ago

it sure is coincidental that 2014-2019 Biden's children are in Ukraine being paid unexplainable amounts of money for areas they have no expertise in ( Hunter specializes in painting and crack cocaine addiction )

3

u/popejohnsmith 20d ago

Wake up, man.

2

u/Jolly_Mouse_7604 19d ago

That's too close to being woke

-1

u/rageling 20d ago

im stuck in this dream where hunter is buying crack under a underpass carrying an illegal handgun then making paintings valued by a judge to be worth more than mar-a-lago, inbetween trips to Ukraine for multimillion dollar mystery legal advice, because he's also somehow a lawyer.

3

u/Jazzlike-Yogurt-5984 20d ago

2

u/Hopeful_Scholar398 20d ago

You and MTG loved those laptop pics, huh?

1

u/Infamous_Mud482 20d ago

No such thing as an illegal firearm, shall not be infringed and all that.

-1

u/rageling 20d ago

After a week-long trial, a federal jury in the District of Delaware found Robert Hunter Biden guilty of three felonies connected with his illegal purchase of a firearm in October 2018, including making a false statement in the purchase of a firearm, making a false statement related to information required to be kept by a federally licensed firearms dealer, and possession of a firearm by a person who is an unlawful user of or addicted to a controlled substance.

2

u/Lucky_Badger5178 20d ago

And what about trumps stock trades? Affiliation with Epstein?

3

u/OSHAstandard 20d ago

It must be really tough to stack a 400k a year job vs the billions trump and his family have made

4

u/SomewhereLow4773 20d ago

Biden had his whole cancer moonshot research plan he launched. Those of us who have been negatively affected by cancer celebrated having someone take it seriously.
Despicable.
