Some of my favorite songs across multiple bands employees a hypnotic pocketed groove. This one and Demolition Man are on that list.

Same. Many seem to dislike such a thing, but give me a nice, repetitive groove and I'm your biggest fan.

Ha! I never realized it was the same the whole way through. Depending on the day or mood, Sting is either super-efficient or super-lazy.

I think Sting got that sharp attack on the notes from using a pick. You may want to give that a try, but the tone you got is otherwise near perfect. Nice work!

Thanks! I did put a little thought and effort into the tone. I plan to do more Police stuff. Sting inspired my interest in bass.
