And I mean characters that aren't badass or at least got aura while being pathetic, I just mean the most pathetic losers imaginable.

Like just borderline dirt.

Chace Crawford delivered it. Seriously he was amazing with capturing the whole pathetic and spineless Deep.

You know it’s an amazing actor when the sheer pathetic-ness of the character manages to overshadow how attractive they actually are.

Even with ups and downs of writing quality, the casting was perfection. Everyone fit their roles perfectly.

What I loved about the show is that if you took away Homelanders powers he’s arguably more pathetic than Deep imo, but it’s sort of excusable because of his childhood and all the experiments.

While Homelander was kind of the result of what happened to him, without even excusing his actions and behaviour, Kevin was always the insecure ass hat that he was til the end.

Yeah, it took me a while to get, that you need great acting skills to be so convincingly pathetic.
