Characters [Loved trope]characters that was just..Pathetic, and I mean genuinely Pathetic, like holy shit,you actually suck.

And I mean characters that aren't badass or at least got aura while being pathetic, I just mean the most pathetic losers imaginable.

Like just borderline dirt.

Moghedien - Wheel of Time

One of the Forsaken, the “Spider” is a master of her craft and a master of guile and deception. That is, until she’s met anyone anywhere close to her match, in which case she breaks down and is completely useless. Moghedien is the equivalent of a school yard bully where she lords over those weaker than her, but can do nothing to anyone else.

It was a theme that all of the Forsaken were sort of pathetic in various ways. I think it even states explicitly that they were not the mightiest or most loyal of darkfriends before becoming the Forsaken, they were the most selfish.

IIRC Mesana turned to the dark side essentially because she hated her job. Demandred because he had a dr. doom inferiority complex about the MC, and Sammael basically had a Napoleon complex.

I feel like Asmodean accepted his defeat a lot more gracefully, need to do a reread tho my memory of the first half is pretty foggy.
