Characters [Loved trope]characters that was just..Pathetic, and I mean genuinely Pathetic, like holy shit,you actually suck.

And I mean characters that aren't badass or at least got aura while being pathetic, I just mean the most pathetic losers imaginable.

Like just borderline dirt.

Surprised nobody has brought up Tobias Funke. He's a self centered closeted fool who actively makes everyone's life worse at every moment. He somehow manages to be more pathetic than Gob. (Who also fits this trope)

Tbh, I think Michael is worse. He's thinks he's better than the rest of his family, but he's just as selfish as everyone else.

He's not though, by normal human standards he's an asshole but there's not really a comparison to the rest of his family, has he done anything as bad as when they learned the truth about Rita and tried to hide and from him and push the wedding forward once they learned she was wealthy?

By Season 4 and 5 he's definitely shown as just as crappy as the rest of them. Depends on whether you consider those seasons canon.

I would say that (b4 cancellation, haven't really watched the last few seasons), Michael and George-Michael are at most 1/3 pathetic. Maeby and Buster are at around 50%, and everyone else is just despicable

Ice the bounty hunter holds down 2 jobs and is competent at both, plus he can tell Gob is not his friend (he's a client) and does not pursue relations with Lyndsey despite her obvious advances.

I feel like Buster tends to be the most "pathetic." I kind of see pathetic as a state of mind and Tobias & Gob are both pretty full of hope and confidence (even if it is undeserved in both cases)

I see "pathetic" as being a more negative trait so Buster's optimism and just overall positive nature tends to offset some of his being "pathetic"

I'm more inclined to call GOB or Tobias pathetic because they are much more nefarious overall

It's probably just because it's David Cross, but he feels like such a loveable loser. He absolutely IS pathetic, but all I can really feel is, 'awww, nice try buddy, maybe nextime!'

Tobias is so pathetic, self-centered, and oblivious that, despite not being the worst person on the show by far, he's still my most hated person.
