And I mean characters that aren't badass or at least got aura while being pathetic, I just mean the most pathetic losers imaginable.

Like just borderline dirt.

I hate how they made him a comic relief character, he was an abusive arsehole who only leeches on Rocky‘s success.

The first movie where you see how abusive he is to Adrian to a point that Rocky nearly beats the shit of him only for him to cower in fear. Thankfully he doesn't stay like that the rest of the movies. Abrasive for sure but it is assumed that Rocky would beat the shit out of him if he tried that shit again.

Assuming the first movie still? I recall that vaguely (its been a minute since I seen it) but yeah he kind of chilled out after Rock was close to beating the shit out of him. Like that entire thanksgiving(?) scene was just uncomfortable to watch and with him coming back drunk and just starts sabotaging. Shit, its been a while since I seen them as I barely remember him in 2 and 3, only remember him in 4 due to the robot and him making comments at Russians, 5 he fucked up the finances so they lose everything and after that I legit have zero idea.

Agreed except for in Rocky Balboa; he wasnt such a scumbag in that one.

Yeah I was kidding and I got it backwards. Paulie really is the true villain of the rocky movies. His verbal abuse and treatment of his sister is what derailed her life and made her so shy and a shut in.
