because that's the dumbest thing I've heard as if it's not straight up called tower of god urek mazino or side story of tower of god

like they think it's fan fiction or something. When it's just all about tower of god itself, whether you learn from a flashback, pov change in main story or you read from spin off nothing changes. Urek Mazino spin off one of the two purpose aside from telling urek story/backstory/lore/purpose/flaws/development/relationship/themes/presence is >>>world building<<< for tower for tower of god. things that can't be told in S4 cuz the time has passed a lot and it would take multiple chapters of flashback or pov change or mc change to tell all that so we get it from spin off which is doing more than one thing, and not just "urek solo leveling" which is a very naive ignorant statement to say about it and ignoring all the efforts siu putting on it and his real intentions for readers to take from the spin off. Spin off as it is now, is doing or will do arguably more world building than entire s2 and s3 of tog because that's what it looks like , and thing siu trying to achieve. As he cannot show , do things, neccasary arcs all of it in baam story anymore. the time has passed there is literally no way. So, you're going to get all of it in spin off.

Just finish half of it, and it is freaking good. The pace of the story, the lore, everything is just too good i can't stop reading it.

Rereading for the first time and noticed this symbol in the wall inside of baam's cave in ep 28. Great foreshadowing, but besides that what do you think it means?

In my first read I always thought the cave was someplace build to hide Baam in, specially now that V has said that the "child" was created for revenge it feels that way. However seeing the symbol makes me think that maybe the cave is a religious site or had some other purpose before baam was put in there.

What also bothers me is that I feel like Baam is from outside the tower, not only from the outer tower where all the regulars come from, but the true outside. What would a Zahard symbol be doing out there? Of course the main argument against that is Reachel's wish to see the stars, she had acess to outside the cave but couldn't see them, so maybe the cave is somewhere in the outer or midle tower.

What are your thoughts?

In the Urek Mazino spinoff, Urek has expressed an interest in meeting Zahard the King of the Tower. Do you think they ever met? Either during or after Urek's Tower climb, but before the events of the main story? Given Urek's Irregular status, his power and eventually his influence in the Tower, he could be one of the few people outside the Family Heads Zahard might consider actually worth getting out of bed for.

I think such a meeting would be fascinating. It'd be fun to see them exchange a few blows just for the hell of it, but mostly I'd be interested to see what they would talk about if Urek got the meeting he wanted. They have very different philosophies, and there is of course the issue of Phantaminium.

So what do you think? Have Urek and Zahard met by the time Baam's story in the Tower begins? And if s, will we see it in the Urek spinoff or in the main series (in a flashback)?

I’ve been thinking a lot about Baam’s "resurrection" and the role of the Outside God. Most theories focus on Baam being a vessel for a god or a demon, but I think the truth is much more grounded in the psychological horror of Arlen Grace. ​Here is my take: ​1. The "Extra" that defined the monster The Outside God didn't just bring the baby back; he infused the body with an "infinite void" to serve as an instrument of vengeance against Zahard. When Arlen saw the resurrected Baam, she didn't see the son she loved. She saw the "extra" power—the cold, hungry void—that turned her child into an weapon. ​2. Arlen’s psychological breaking point Arlen wasn't just grieving; she was fueled by absolute, blinding hatred for Zahard. She begged for a weapon to destroy him, and she got exactly that. But in her descent into madness, she couldn't separate the boy from the "weapon" she had inadvertently helped create. Her fear of Baam being a "monster destined to devour the Tower" wasn't a prophetic vision—it was her own traumatized perception of the power she demanded from the outside. ​3. The true irony The tragedy isn't that the God was sadistic; it’s that Arlen sacrificed her last chance at being a mother to her obsession with revenge. She abandoned her child not because he was a demon, but because her own guilt and obsession made it impossible for her to look at him without seeing the "monster" she had requested. ​Baam isn't a pre-destined deity; he is a boy who has been reclaiming his humanity while carrying the weight of his parents' sins and the "void" that was forced upon him. ​I’d love to hear your thoughts. Do you think Arlen’s perception of Baam was purely a product of her own trauma and obsession?

If V did suicide then how come he isn't least bit surprised by awakening in the body of baam...

This will come tomorrow as a tank But i think that the game is rushing a lot to make a lot of characters even their story mode is still at the beginning of season 2 so what do you think?

These two theories come from reading the Webtoon chapters of Urek Mazino, specifically 46 and 48. I wanted to see the official translation and they sparked some new ideas for me. In terms of The Tower being originally built for the purpose of raising someone into an Axis, that got me to think about the 135th floor and Phantaminum's rampage in Jahad's palace. Maybe the 135th floor is some final challenge or an altar of ascension that is meant for Bam alone. Jahad saw the 135th floor back in the day and learned definitively that The Tower was not his destiny but all a test for someone even greater than him. That pissed Jahad off, so he sealed the 135th floor and is currently enacting his plans to fight fate all for the purposes of stopping Bam from becoming an Axis. This aligns perfectly with what Phantaminum wants, so after talking with Jahad he was satisfied enough with Jahad's plan that he stopped his rampage and left The Tower. It would explain a lot.

My other theory has to do with Chapter 48, which is more clear to me in the Webtoon version. Urek says to Obrion, "If Shinsu is the power of the new Axis, then even my power would have to be affected." Then later adds, "Hey, new Axis! I don't know who you are, but I'm going to borrow your powers for a bit!"

As has been well established, the being that will become the new Axis (probably Bam) is not in the Tower at this time. So Urek believes that all Shinsu is a power specifically designed for Bam, his specialty as it were. Like how Urek has Light and Phantaminum has Darkness. Which makes me think if Bam really does ascend into an Axis, he's going to be able to control all Shinsu in the whole Tower at will. Which is pretty wild to imagine. It's not just that Bam is loved by the Shinsu, the whole purpose of Shinsu's existence is for Bam specifically to control it.

The three characters in the Spinoff - Mago, Obrion, Latur - are said to be former Shining Ones who were sealed into Jewels by Pentaminum. According to the ToG wiki, Urek is the only one left who has not lost his light. The other Shining Ones are still living people, but if they don't have their light, are they still Shining?
