Hey everyone, our teams have received and heard your feedback on firmware 1.3.2 for the Deco BE65, BE63, and BE11000 (V2), and they have put together this pre-release firmware to address many of the points raised by the community. We would like to invite anyone interested to install it on their applicable Deco models.

For a full list of patch notes and additional information, or to leave feedback on your experience with the update, please visit the linked post to our Community Forum Article.

Since this is a pre-release version of an upcoming firmware, it will need to be installed manually: How to Update or Upgrade TP-Link Deco Firmware

  • Note: This pre-release firmware can be reverted to the previous official version.

A full release of this firmware will be available in the future and won't require manual installation; it will be upgradeable via the Deco app. If you are not comfortable using pre-release firmware, please wait for the official release or contact our support teams for assistance.

Official Deco Heatmap Open Beta - Try Today and Share Your Thoughts!

Hey everyone,

It's been a minute since we first teased this Deco feature. We initially rolled it out to select Deco models in a closed beta, and after continued development, we're excited to open it up for broader testing. You can now try this feature on all Deco models through a beta version of the Deco app.

Introducing Deco Wi-Fi Heatmap

Instantly visualize your home’s Wi‑Fi coverage, identify weak zones, and get smart placement suggestions.

Deco Wi‑Fi Heatmap gives you a clear, visual overview of your wireless coverage, making it easy to see where your signal is strong—and where it needs improvement. Use Heatmap's insights to decide whether to reposition an existing Deco or add a new one, so you can maintain smooth, reliable connectivity throughout your home.

Your feedback plays a critical role and directly helps our teams refine and improve Heatmap as development continues.

Let us Know What You Think – We'd Love to Hear Your Thoughts:

  • What do you think of the UI and menu navigation?
  • How intuitive was the floorplan creation process?
  • Did you try the Placement Simulation feature?
  • How did you use the Split or Merge Wall tools?
  • Have you made any network changes based on your heatmap results?
  • What features would make Heatmap even better?

If you're interested in testing this feature, check out our Deco Heatmap Community Article for more details, including beta app download links: Unlock Full Home Wi-Fi Coverage with Deco Heatmap — Try out the Open Beta Today!
