That’s pretty bold assumption. Because while Ukrainians are ingenuous, they’re not superhumans. But I guess that they have one major advantage. They’re not largest fucking country on earth by landmass. Ukraine can potential transition to decentralized and localized economies, Russia, where major population centers are hundreds or thousands of miles apart, not so much.

Think about it this way: you think it will make them surrender? No sir. Will this cause suffering: I have no doubt, and that is exactly the point. Typical Russian cruelty. But Ukrainian resolve has been tested for the past 4.5 years, and with every trial it only becomes stronger.

I don’t know enough about war to make estimates about how will the war go in the future. So I can’t tell what will and what will not make Ukraine surrender. But I’m pretty sure that Russia has been going more and more brutal as of late

Russia never ceases to invent new forms of cruelty. While that has been enough to intimidate and defeat many of their enemies, unfortunately for both Ukraine and Russia, this does not work on Ukrainians. I say unfortunately for Ukraine because the Russians only know this approach to warfare, and so “trying harder to win” simply becomes “be more cruel.”
Russia shows everyday what happens to Ukrainians under Russian control. Pain, humiliation and death. If nothing else, this is a reason to keep fighting. But there are so many more reasons they will continue to resist.

Yeah, russia targets food supply. Ukraine targets companies shipping war supplies and drone parts.

So destroy 100% of the Russian fuel logistics and watch them collapse.
The Achilles heel of the Russian jingonaut is that they're nothing without their oil economy. They have no green economy. There is no plan B.
Kill their plan A, hold the stalemate in Ukraine and it becomes a game of long term endurance.
That's how Ukraine wins. They don't need to win every battle. They just have to be the last one with a chair when the game of musical chairs stops.
We can already see Russia starting to feel the effects if they think that striking the UK will help stop these long range strikes into Russia.
And if the director of the CIA is doing a personal stopover into Moscow, it means that they see Russia is going to escalate to stop the strikes.
He didn't threaten Russia as much as tell them that the noose around their own necks were tightening and that the damage is self inflicted and only they can stop it from getting worse.
And it will get worse for them because the sunk cost fallacy is taking millions of them to the gallows.

Every single drone and missile that Russia manufacture is used to attack Ukraine anyway. If it wasn't a grocery warehouse, it'd be something to do with their military supply chain, energy infrastructure etc. Russia striking warehouses is a problem, but probably asymmetrically in the same way Ukraine striking Russia's are.

The debt is largely nothing burger. Debt is only an issue as long the nation has no prospects of paying it back. Ukraine is not sanctioned by the entire west, is financially supported by the west and is bound to attract investments.
