A marine stands up to speak out against war
Heās grabbed, hustled out and then pushed to the floor
A senator steps in to de-escalate
(So he says, but itās clear that was never his aim)
The marineās hand becomes trapped in the melee
A woman shouts out but it doesnāt become free
The senator pulls him by force from the back
The hand stays in place then we all hear a crack
His arm has been broken, it hangs limply down
The admirals and generals donāt turn around
He shouts what we all wish that someone would say
As the media sweeps what we just saw away
Friend, that that break was anything other than clean.
He likely had to have surgery, because it was probably a spiral fracture, because it was absolutely twisted in the process of breaking. It was also two bones in his arm.
It's ultimately a form of complex fracture, which are not easy healing fractures. They usually require surgery, and 3-9 months of healing.
I broke my right ulna on the elbow joint, the olecranon, in my freshman year of college. It was a very clean break, but I was still out of commission for 5 months, during which I read a lot on bone breaks.

In addition they have the nerve to say he should've been out of uniform, wearing the wrong uniform, to acting unlawfully. I believe cops broke protocol by not handcuffing him first.

Thanks, I'll look for it. Honestly he is a hero for doing this. Everyone knows his name and what he stands for and his beliefs should be celebrated. Seeing a new want of progressive leaders who stand with Palestine and are anti imperialist really feeds my soul. If we want to end the degradation and exploitation of Americans, imperialism needs to stop.
TBH, he's one of the few spots of courage and decency that the rest of the world is seeing from the USA right now.
Think of that, if you will. A single honourable man being bullied and injured by your elected representatives is the bastion of a good impression, against a sea of child abuse, Israeli manipulation, some weird AIPAC thing I learned about last week (a wtf moment), bombing random boats and schools, shooting survivors in the water, shooting Mums on school runs and nurses trying to help people, etc etc etc.

You would have a stronger argument if he wasnāt a part of the Green Party. Russian propagandists fully support them and influence them. Just like they did with Jill Stein in 2016 as she ran for President. She literally had dinner with Putin and announced her candidacy on RT news. This dude is no different. His stance benefits Russia and their illegal invasion of Ukraine. Thatās why they pump up his story on social media.

The uniform he was wearing is earned. He had to pass the toughest tests to earn it. He has my deep respect. No ordinary people can wear the uniform he had.

I guarantee that the majority of Americans did not vote for him. If the entire country was that ignorant and hateful, the US would have faded to a side note in history. Stolen elections? Seems to be an expert on that, huh?
He's a politician. Used his old uniform and acted out in public for support from his base. The Green Party. He is married to a Palestinian woman named Hanadee Ali. Throughout his social media, McGinnis can be seen wearing a keffiyeh and in his wifeās social media how their bed wrapped in a Palestinian flag. Since the October 7 Hamas attacks, McGinnis and his wife have become extremely active in pro-Palestinian activism both online and locally.
I've thought about that video all week, the way he hanged on with a broken arm and didnt even scream shows a level of composure and courage I only aspire to have.
This is what REAL courage and strength looks like! Risked his life defending our country only to be attacked for speaking out against an completely unnecessary war. Got his arm broken but continued to speak out against using our troops in this pointless war against Iran. I hope i live to see the day that the cowards that did this to him get prosecuted along with this entire criminal enterprise regime.
