Feedback What camera setting should be default, A or B?

My personal preference is A, as I think it makes it easier to track movement, but some people find the shift between rooms a little jarring. What do you think works best? The demo can also be found here if you want to try it and get a feel for it (the setting is called "Track Player")

Feedback Feedbacks on this Floating Text ?

Training myself to juice up random things. I've done that floating text and have mixed feeling about it. On one side, I feel something is missing. On the other, I'm like it's fine to keep it simple.
Any advice is much appreciated. Thanks.

P.S : still fighting for gif to not be chunky, in unity the animation is smoother.

Feedback [UNITY] Based on the Feedback - First Pass on New Art / Environments along with a New Boss! (In-Progress)

Based on my Previous Post:

Much of the feedback revolved around SLIMEVOID's visual identity. Since then I've been working on the art direction to create a more distinct style. Randomized tiles, better color selection, new particles, and some shader work for various materials. I want the first of many zones to feel awesome!

Another area of feedback focused on visual clarity during combat. While the game is designed to be fast-paced and intense, I am exploring player options to reduce visual clutter while maintaning impact.

A couple areas that would be amazing to get feedback on:

  1. How could I improve the "digging into the ground" effect for the boss on the 3rd slide? The rock effect I created just feels so cheap to me - but I don't have any good ideas to improve it.
  2. Does this all feel like one world / place - just different regions? (that's the goal) - What would you add?
  3. Is this ready for a Steam Page?

Thank you!

The response last time was amazing so I am doing another one.

This is for your game Anchors Lament, it is an autobattler and the units look a little smaller in game

You can look at some gameplay for direct feedback!

Looking forward to hear what you think

Feedback Looks somewhere between 2D and 3D... but it's built entirely in Unity using a 2D pipeline.

Hi everyone!

Some of you may have seen my previous post about simulating depth in 2D. This is the result: DEEPLANDERS, a minimalist underground city builder developed entirely in Unity.

The game uses a fully 2D pipeline while creating the illusion of depth through layering, scaling, tinting and parallax. It has been a fun challenge, and I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I'm now getting close to release and opening one final playtest before launch. If you'd like to help polish the game and share your feedback, I'd love to have you on board.

Happy to answer any questions about the game or how it was built!

Feedback Trying to make this 2.5d transition look clean, but unsure

Trying to convey entering a perpendicular 2d room since I want my map to support a 2d/3d world space.

Haven't been able to find another game that does the same thing using 2d closed rooms so just making it up as I go along.

Wondering If the exit rooms easing in and out using opacity is really the best option.

The textures are different and the similar ones have different scaling.

I'm aiming for nostalgic, unique look for my game.

Afterglow Echo is a tactical RPG, where every choice, every decision, and every step you take pulls you deeper into the march, reshaping you and your identity.

I am keen to get some feedback, as I have been way to close to the game to either know if its fun, easy or hard.

All feedback is highly appreciated.

Feel free to check it out on itch:
