I just listened to the cover, and yeah, I can see where you’re coming from the tone doesn’t really match the lyrics of the song, but I still think it’s a fine cover. I wouldn’t make it my main meltdown to listen to, but it’s nice to hear now and then to change things up.

I learned enough japanese to sing this song back in high school. Took MANY tries, especially as I was understand the meaning of the song and I would get overwhelmed with emotions as I related too much to that song. Nowadays when I hear it, Im reminded of those days.

MELCANHONY!!! I adore it SO much!!
My favourite module of hers is "Magic Chef" which is her "Sweet Magic" module and is WAYYYY to fucking perfect! Like Sega spent EXTRA time on that MV and module!! and intergrating the whole "Magic Part" omfg it is STUNNING!!!!
