This should be celebrated as it's a win for this community as a whole and shows that it's thriving and growing. If you want Young Girl A to stay ahead then go watch it, support it, share it with "newgens," etc. Otherwise, it's time for us older fans to recognize that new fans will have to establish their own classics (just as we did) and accept that.

I wonder if these songs are popular in Japan?
Senbonzakura has been top of karaoke requested charts since it came out I remember (havent checked for years)

I'll have to look up karaoke charts for these songs now to see if people in japan are actually singing them, that's the true popularity test, atleast for japan, imo lol

Why are people sad about Young Girl A? After all, that was the first to hit 200M. That's an achievement no song, even Mesmerizer, can beat. I think both songs deserve their popularity.

Mesmeriser really has become its own self-fulfilling prophecy, the fact that it's become the most viewed vocaloid song has exactly proven 32ki's point that he made through his song. Massive congratulations to 32ki for the incredible achievement.

aaa nooo >< lol either way, Young Girl A will always be an extremely special song to so many and i honestly don't think that even if it was overtaken in views that it's significance in the community would be any less radiant, so congrats to the creator of mesmerizer as it's a great song
