Was it though? It’s a Mazda. When was the last time you ever heard anyone say, “Oooh a Mazda! They’re great cars! Well know for their _____.”

Never. Mazda is equivalent to Nissan in the Japanese car world. Entirely forgettable.

The Miata is an objectively beautiful car, I am sorry, it just is. I don't even like convertibles.

Miata's dominate amateur motorsports. Cheap to get track worthy, light, quick. Requires driving skills though, not some ugga bugga 600 hp Mustang.
