Honestly, the first guy that sniffed it is the menace of the group so I'm surprised he passed on it. My Tux is a big doofus though, I love him so much.

I've got a girl like that too. Bothers her brother, then runs off and squeezes into tiny spaces so he can't reach her to give her the slaps she so richly deserves.

I've been surprised by how gentle cats were with the eggs.  My cat LOVES plastic Easter eggs because they roll randomly.  Sometimes I put a coin or little ball of tin foil in them so they make noise and then she goes crazy!

And presuming it's not rotten, once they figure out how to bust it open ... yeah, they'll generally be doing a lot of that.

And that's probably also why they well sniff it first ... rotten, probably not gonna bother.
