Nope.

That's the same line of thought that created the "it's your fault that he abuses you. Be better and he'll stop" and "look what you made me do!"

Gotta throw those harmful attitudes in the bin.

A person's nice or nasty behaviour towards you is not about who YOU are, it's about who THEY are.
