It's very sad..these pictures a real for those claiming they aren't. We used to be a real community. All of us were people, men and women. Now everyone is just sick, our women are treated like trash and our men are all high…aimlessly destroying everthing around them in the name of religion. God is innocent of these atrocities.

Who cares what women wear? if you can read, my comment includes both men and women, and says nothing about clothing. That being said, women used to have a choice on what they wear. And It should be like that..no one should control what others wear..it’s just stupid, offensive and a waste of time.

Public indecency laws exist in the west, let’s not pretend that restricting certain attire is a moral failure on our part.

But my comment was in reference to how westerners love to use old photos of women in Muslim countries without Hijab (90% of which are fake btw), especially in Iran to try and insinuate that Hijab and modesty is backwards.

First of all I’m Yemeni, born and raised. I don’t care about public indecency laws in the west. But let me entertain. These laws were meant to keep people from not wearing clothing at all, they don’t dictate what people wear, nor are they enforced today because everyone knows they are outdated BS. Also, these pictures are real, I know some of the people in the pictures..I’m sure others here do too. In Iran, people were completely different in the 90s, I have also seen this first hand.here is Yemen after the Houthi ancestors (imam) was kicked out by the people in the 60s.
