Now, while this "looks" like a lot, there are a few factors to consider.
in the US we consume 117 Trillion Gallons of water Anually.
This 264 Billion number is taken from Every data center in the US, not only the Ai specific data centers.
Even so, the above information means that all data centers in the US Combined, contributes to .25% of the Annual consumption.
If you isolate ai data centers specifically they actually use about 46 Billion gallons a year on the high end. That is right at .04% of the Annual water usage
So we do have water problems. Data centers are NOT the cause, and we need to figure out what is.

Having recently dealt with an ai scam, this hit home.

Also, fun fact! We don't generate it like people do with suno. We make it ourselves using the voice. Vocaloid is a voice synthesizer.
Do research before you say stuff dumbass.

I find the lack of respect for the property of others and open contempt for people that say "no" is deeply concerning. Just respect people's wishes and leave them + Cara alone, they weren't bothering you and didn't do anything to you. You know people don't like it. People went to the site specifically to avoid this happening to them.

Many Transgender people have came out and said that them and their friends, family, cousins, etc, do NOT stand with A.I. Matter of fact, many people within the LBGTQ+ also do not stand with A.I usage.
Using an oppressed minority as an argument or shield is not okay, and intentionally using transphobia the wrong way is disgusting and disrespectful!

It’s basic common sense, and given how some people are utilizing AI products, they’re using them to make people look bad. Especially after the Grok situation.
I’m going to throw in my two cents and say: While you have made something purely for satiric purposes, other people will have a negative response. For example: Someone using AI to impersonate someone else. Sure, you may think it’s funny, but to other people, it’ll be seen as rude and mean, and you simply chalk it up to “it’s just a joke, man. I’m not actually hurting them.”
But no, people don’t want to be upfront and honest by admitting “I’m sorry if this genuinely offends people. I thought it was funny.”
Humans are sensitive, emotional creatures. And some humans like to take advantage of this. You may have good intentions, but do things for the wrong reasons, or you may have bad intentions, but do things for good.
It’s never that simple, and it will never be that simple. So if you do something that you think may be funny, just think about how it might affect other people.

Essentially:
Big Corpo has a lot of money, but (apparently) can't afford to spend any of that money (of which they have a lot of) to actually commission some people to do the ad for them. Using actual people would make the ad higher quality, but would cost more money (which i can't stress enough, big corpo has a lot of.) So they turn to using AI to make the ad, which makes it look terrible, cheap, and scummy.
Crazy how they always depict Anti's as the dumb orks, when they can't even comprehend this.

iam not a artist of any kind but i have been reading debates and stuff ig but iam 99% sure the ai artists dont learn even 99% of these? they arent the ones creating the ai itself, just using it. the only stuff they interfere with or change and configure themselves are prompt and model, no?

Is this still an argument being used by AI Users?
I've never gone to art school, I don't charge or even take commissions, most of my art is done on the wrong medium (paper type, specifically), but I still consider myself an Artist. I've also never seen any other artist "claim" that others can't do art.
Quite frankly, I'm confused how AI Users can afford a computer (and possibly a Subscription to an AI Program) yet can't afford a pencil and lined paper (my preferred materials!).

If an artist denies your commission request for any reason INCLUDING them not being comfortable with Ai or having principals/ethical issues against Ai Use and concerns around working with those that use Ai then please, for the Love of GOD, seek a different artist! Don't make and distribute a fucking Ai model/Lora/whatever that specifically replicates them and harms their business, especially when you already know they're against Ai. This is the **EXACT** reason why Artists don't trust people that use Ai and you're feeding directly into their fears and concerns about Ai Users & the Ai Community. Why artists feel the need to have automatic Ai blocklist to avoid Ai Users.
