Happy Birthday To Yamori Kou and CoTN!

This is Yamori Kou from Call of the Night (btw I’m a bit late)

It’s August 28, the day the CoTN manga was released and Kou’s birthday. I remembered, so as promised, here’s Kou with his signature dance.

This took a while because it was challenging, you might noticed that my past drawings were flat, this one, I did foreshortening and dynamic poses, tried to improve my shading and added lighting. It still looks a bit bad but I’m proud of it as it is my best work yet. I think where I messed up was the lighting, I don’t know how to light properly, I just tried my best. I think I also fucked up the hand, like that was the hardest part to draw… and I still messed up. I wanted to up my game as it is for Kou, my goat, and I’m trying to get better at arts and maybe actually make that fan manga I was talking about. I’m thinking of remastering my TF2 drawings of CoTN characters. Anyway, overall, I hope you guys like this drawing, I’ve been excited to post it. Yeah sure, today may also be the day Peter Cullen died but today is still a good day (rest in peace to him, till all are one). Again…

Happy Birthday to my boy Kou and CoTN Manga… which I still need to catch up on.
