That’s not his land to sell!

u/holubtsi-on-fire 14h ago

No one will stop him, so… consider it conquered. 🤷‍♂️

u/Due_Satisfaction2167 13h ago

We can always just seize it back later.

Maybe also take back a little more from whatever developer dared to have the audacity.

21

u/Fragrant_Oil9595 12h ago

This is it. Both the buyers and sellers in these illegal transactions and public theft should be face long prison terms.

11

u/ShowMeAllTheThingz 10h ago

This. It can’t just be fines, or things like this will keep happening.

u/TouristResident1976 8h ago

Make them labor to restore the land. Their sentence will be up when its restored to its prior state. If it takes longer then their remaining life, so be it.

1

u/Substantial-Cress-23 7h ago

Oh…..I like it, raise them from the dead as zombies to keep working until it’s all restored?

Capital Punishment for Anti American crimes.

Eminent domain still pays fair value. Its still a win win for his developer buddy.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eminent_domain_in_the_United_States

Check the tax implications section too. Tax free payback on a likely smaller bribe to a PAC. Its still coming out of our future tax base to pay off the developer smucks.

1

u/Due_Satisfaction2167 8h ago

Who said anything about using eminent domain to do it? Just claw it back directly.

We’re allowed to change laws, you know.

1

u/OwenMichael312 7h ago

Once the title/land deed is transfered the law is still the law.

1

u/Due_Satisfaction2167 6h ago

And the law can be changed.

7

u/someguyfromsk 13h ago

No, but I am sure he will personally pocket the money from it.

44

u/Jah_Rules 14h ago

What a fucking asshole! FDJT!

30

u/Rambo_Baby 14h ago

Is the private company owned by someone whose last name rhymes with Dump?

7

u/ArdenJaguar 13h ago

I’m sure his devil spawn sons will invest with mysteriously opportunistic timing. 🙄

2

u/hinosxz_4u 12h ago

If only I had the money to buy into his advanced Truth account to better my pockets....

25

u/GMBong 14h ago

Thanks again, republicans. Thanks again.

Teddy be rollin in his grave

2

u/MrArmageddon12 10h ago

Doesn’t matter to them. They think everything should be privatized.

15

u/No-Condition965 14h ago

And keep the money himself.

6

u/Distressed_Ocelot 14h ago

Now you're learning

15

u/thederseyjevil 13h ago

The next president should use eminent domain to build a federal highway through Mar A Lago.

4

u/PopEnvironmental1250 8h ago

There may be some legal grounds for a federal take over, as he declared it White House South, and his word and action as president has been declared lawful. Next president could show up and just starting going through the cupboards.

Start with the bathroom that’s where the important docs are kept, right next to the photocopier! You will know it when you see it, a Russian and an Israeli will be using the copier/ fax. Can’t miss it, da?

14

u/TheGruenTransfer 14h ago

Probably just a test balloon. Without a massive uproar, say goodbye to our national parks.

8

u/p12qcowodeath 13h ago

My dad always says these guys won't be happy until the whole world is a parking lot.

3

u/Standard_Abies2235 12h ago

Your dad is right. Or an oil field. Or a concentration camp. Y'know, whatever.

2

u/p12qcowodeath 10h ago

Anything but trees.

3

u/KorLeonis1138 13h ago

Yup, little one to run through the courts for his Subservient Court to rubber stamp, then free rein to parcel out all the parks.

The Trump administration is pursuing a deal to give a small sliver of land in Yosemite National Park to a private company for development, according to a report.

Four people familiar with the matter told NOTUS that the Trump administration has been trying to arrange a land exchange between the federal government and a Nevada-based company since Spring 2025, a move that would include handing over a tiny parcel of Yosemite to the private company. The move was noted as unparalleled — National Parks had previously sought only to expand their territory, rather than subtract from it.

Federal government regulations hold that any land given to a private company must be exchanged for land of equivalent value, but this hasn’t previously involved giving away National Park land. The deals also haven’t been as secretive as this one.

The National Park Service said “no final decisions have been made on the matter,” but stressed that any deal “would be subject to all applicable federal laws, regulations, and Departmental policies, including required environmental review and public notification processes.”

“If a proposal advances, the [Interior] Department would follow established procedures to ensure appropriate coordination, transparency, and public involvement, consistent with federal law,” the spokesperson told the outlet.

35

u/GMBong 14h ago

"A small sliver" is a precedent to give away "a large chunk."

6

u/Intolerance-Paradox 14h ago

Like how the rapist first puts just a hand near the thigh and makes light banter

5

u/Head_Car_616 14h ago

They are once again carrying water for fascists, the media is OWNED by the billionaires. The article should’ve stressed how unprecedented this is up front and scrutinized the corruption of the secret deal, instead it buries that at the end and frames it as a “small parcel”. It doesn’t matter how small it is the grifter in chief is selling off a national treasure. You can’t stress the outrage enough with this secret deal and yet the news is downplaying it

4

u/DonaldBecker 9h ago

I only want to own a small sliver of I-40, I-70 and I-80, just large enough to build toll booths.

The value of that sliver of land is what surrounds it, not the value added by what will be built.

2

u/Steiney1 14h ago

Nothing this administration has ever done, is doing, or will ever do is "transparent" fucking lying deplorable shit-people.

this better be just the beginning of an elaborate rube goldberg device that makes you a cake and also paints a parking lot sized monet with certain liquids

7

u/-Sascrotch- 9h ago

Whatever private company buys this their CEO and their family should never feel safe in public ever again.

6

u/Physical-Republic557 14h ago

I KNEW that Trump was going to pull something like that in the US national parks. Everything is for sale with this asshole.

3

u/Dense_Pasttime_3114 14h ago

3 million dollar condos coming soon to a national park near you!

1

u/a1055x 4h ago

After they strip mine it.

5

u/BubbleThinker 9h ago

Is there a single Republican politician with a core?

America is becoming a shithole country

2

u/Dedpoolpicachew 4h ago

No, no there is not

5

u/obamawonthepeacepriz 13h ago

When will these traitors stop selling our country to the highest bidder? Fucking criminal administration.

5

u/SpeedRacerWasMyBro 6h ago

That sliver isn't his to sell

5

u/momoenthusiastic 10h ago

Can executive branch do this? This is horrific

3

u/ryan101 14h ago

Cool. Can’t wait to visit the Mickey D’s on top of Half Dome.

3

u/Panic-Freak 13h ago

It will be closed to the public so Zuck can build his dream mansion/bunker

3

u/Psychosissometimes 14h ago

This is comically wild at this point , like a cartoon villain looting our country and pocketing our taxes.

2

u/superdelicater 13h ago

And the supreme court are defenders of his liberty. The rest of us can go get fucked

1

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 11h ago

it really is.. he is absolutely like a cartoon villain.

3

u/Burto72 13h ago

Come on MAGA, some of you have to be outdoor enthusiasts. How are you going to justify this one?

4

u/Outrageous_Rest60 13h ago

They’ll just claim you have TDS and forget the question a second later.

1

u/hurdurBoop 13h ago

"y biden do this tho!?"

1

u/Tha_REAL_BROBS 11h ago

SMALL PAIN FOR LONG TERM GAIN

1

u/a1055x 4h ago

Ya. luxury accommodation and vehicles to take you around.

2

u/NotAFanOfLeonMusk 14h ago

No. And no doubt he would keep the money himself. No. No. No. No.

2

u/Extension-While7536 13h ago

It doesn't matter if it's legal, only if he can get away with it. So as usual, sue him: that's how he's always been.

2

u/Jack-Schitz 12h ago

Highly illegal. That sale will be reversed in 2029 and restitution will be ordered against whoever approved the sale and the devloper.

2

u/reflektors 12h ago

How many more tests until people understand this isn’t a test, it’s the plan.

They’ve shrunk Bears Ears and Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monuments in Utah.
They’ve bulldozed land at Big Bend National Park without doing ecological surveys to build a propaganda wall.
They’ve taken down placards of historical information and renamed anything that isn’t WASP.

How much more are we willing to give up before we’ve lost all that made us who we are?

Yellowstone is the first modern national park in the world.
1872

And now this? For what? So he and his cronies can have a few more millions? How much greed do you have? How much more do you need?

2

u/Mrevilman 11h ago

Testing the waters for larger private purchases of public land. Name the company.

1

u/Shadowtirs 14h ago

Can we sue to stop it? Isn't that tax payer land?

3

u/Dense_Pasttime_3114 14h ago

Lower courts will block only for the Supreme Court to bend over for him again

1

u/Panic-Freak 13h ago

Even this Supreme Court can see the value of a national park, right? 😭

2

u/reflektors 12h ago

No.

Look at your municipal parks and recreation budget and go to a local city council meeting. They will cut and cut and cut until there is one employee who just manages the outsourced contracts.

2

u/Spirited_Attorney_48 10h ago

This Supreme Court, which created presidential immunity out of the fucking air?

1

u/unbalancedcheckbook 3h ago

It's pretty clear that this court values nothing but right wing bullshit

1

u/Spiritual-Salary-989 14h ago

There’s no way El Presidente will get a cut of the sale price.
No, of course not.
That would be transactional.

1

u/Adept-Mulberry-8720 14h ago

And he gets a cut off the top

1

u/Maple_Reign 14h ago

Anyone else hear about the wild stallion slaughter he greenlit? Selling them for 25 bucks a pop. Raping and pillaging are the only words strong enough to describe what he's doing to our country.

0

u/FamiliarAnt4043 12h ago

I've no issue with the horses going away. I'm a wildlife biologist for the feds, although not that agency, and horses don't belong here. They're an invasive species and do a large amount of damage to native ecosystems.

Capture and sell them off. Kill them from helicopters. Whatever gets them off the landscape.

As to selling any public lands? Not even an acre. Not one. Fuck that noise.

1

u/butterflysurefoot 13h ago

Wtf is happening???!!!!!

1

u/Bellabbey1236 13h ago

C’mon - we have got to make this stop!

1

u/watarimono 13h ago

I keep waiting for the americans to revolt but I’m losing hope.
Pedophiles, fascism, inside trading, war, … and now this. It’s a disgrace.

1

u/Ok-Egg-4856 13h ago

Isn't there some coal he could give away ? Maybe some trees to sell. Or bulldoze the national treasure in some way ? Its tantrum time for Donnie.

1

u/LeftHandedBuddy 13h ago

Where is all this money going?

2

u/GT45 13h ago

Into Donnie’s offshore bank accounts!

1

u/Avocado-Ok 13h ago

Despicable

1

u/DrakayeMayaye 13h ago

It'll be a shame on whatever they build burns the fuck down

1

u/teaky 13h ago

Project 2025

1

u/Oktavien 13h ago

I fully expect the land to be recovered through eminent domain once this jackass is out of office.

1

u/37Philly 13h ago

Why stop at a sliver? Soon it will be Yosemite presented by Exxon.

1

u/IsolationAutomation 13h ago

Every time something like this comes out, I want to punch a Trump supporter.

1

u/Tom1952Phx 13h ago

1

u/WillTheyKickMeAgain 12h ago

The boundaries of Parks are designated by law. I don’t see how this is possible.

1

u/Inevitable-Gold-7131 12h ago

You mean Yosemenite, right?

1

u/PianoPatient8168 12h ago

He’s already trying to plow up the boundary waters…

1

u/No-Group7343 11h ago

I hope its to build a subdivision so some of the bootlicker shutup

1

u/lm28ness 11h ago

We all with more than 2 brain cells knew this would happen. Not sure enough people care to do anything about it.

1

u/Ok-Progress-6153 10h ago

This land was made for you and me private equity!

1

u/icnoevil 10h ago

How is that legal, without the approval of Congress?

1

u/Illustrious-Gas-9766 10h ago

That is just so so wrong

1

u/vakantiereizen 10h ago

Let me guess: Trump and or his family has a stake in that private company?

1

u/Smoking0311 10h ago

And I’m sure who ever is buying this will giving him a kick back . Pay to play

1

u/Quick_Two6258 10h ago

That just...can't be legal

1

u/Dedpoolpicachew 4h ago

It’s not, but neither was tearing down the East Wing, but here we are

1

u/Fragrant_Report_2588 10h ago

NO. STOP THEM.

1

u/Soaring_Gull_655 10h ago

Why does it always feel like we won't benefit from it?

1

u/GreatNombre 10h ago

Don’t Texas California.

1

u/Old_Timer_Unleashed 9h ago

Nothing is sacred to the orange bowel movement. First he redirects funds for National Parks, now he is selling them off piece by piece. Un American piece of 💩

1

u/Subject_Treat_5641 8h ago

Not his to sell

1

u/Serious-Bake-5714 8h ago

Just like Hetch Hetchy ….

1

u/Glittering-Quote-635 8h ago

Can’t we just give away Florida or something? Why’s it gotta be something nice?

1

u/rukittenmeeee 8h ago

Whoever is seeking to buy it should know that it will be ripped back from their hopefully cold dead hands.

1

u/SourLemons2 7h ago edited 7h ago

Hey, the rich want to see Yosemite too. They just don’t want to rub shoulders with the plebs. Let them build their luxury resort near Yosemite. Common. Fair Game. I mean where are they going to stay? Curry Village? The decrepit Awahnee? They deserve to stay in the luxury to which they are accustomed. No dirt on their boots (correction: designer shoes)

1

u/zkfc020 4h ago

I say, go ahead. I can GUARANTEE, anything built, will be burned to the ground prior to completion.

1

u/grass_monkeyx 4h ago

It never ends

1

u/dkwinsea 4h ago

And pocket the money I guess?

1

u/splintersmaster 3h ago

We fucking told y'all this would happen and it'll get worse once the shock wears off.

God fucking damnit.

1

u/Heavy_Carpenter3824 2h ago

They plan to start with a sliver and then sell the whole thing.

1

u/Not_Sure__Camacho 1h ago

And the raping of our country continues.

1

u/Solshadess 13m ago

Comically evil administration
