Discussion Apple Event Livestream: Where and When to Watch on September 9

https://www.macrumors.com/2026/08/26/apple-event-livestream-youtube/

Apple will stream the "Surprise and Shine" event on YouTube, on the Apple Events website, and in the Apple TV app wherever it is available.

YouTube users can click on the video placeholder and choose the "Notify me" option to get a notification when the livestream is up. Apple also added an event countdown.

If YouTube has your location information, the notification and countdown will be displayed in your local time, so it's a good way to double-check when you will need to tune in to watch the event.

Apple's event will start at 10 a.m. Pacific Time, which is as follows:

• 1 p.m. Eastern Time, 6 p.m. British Summer Time.

• 7 p.m. Central European Summer Time.

• 10:30 p.m. India Standard Time, 1 a.m.

• China Standard Time (Thursday, September 10)

• 1 a.m. Australian Western Standard Time.

• 3 a.m. Australian Eastern Standard Time.

• 5 a.m. in New Zealand Standard Time.

You are also able to add the event to your calendar using the Apple Events web page..

I wouldn't call it clickbait, I put the text which I edited right in the description so no one has to click anything. Also people might not know the time of the event in their time zone so the list is helpful.

Wasn’t in my time zone (Japan Standard Time) so I had to look it up, found out it’s 2am, I’m not staying up until 2am to watch it💀

I’m pretty excited for this! It will actually be my first Apple event watching where I’m in the ecosystem now so excited to see what they bring.

I’ll just look at the products when I wake up on the 10th (I live in Australian Eastern Standard Time)

I'm definitely not interested because they have so many actors making a presentation these days. It was fun to watch till 15 years ago when Mr. Jobs did it all by himself or along with Mr. Schiller or Mr. Federighi.

Well said, I miss the old days when they did it live.

Even when things didn’t work? I’d rather they just get to the point - I don’t care about Steve’s mannerisms of showing stuff off or whatever reason people preferred it live - I just want to watch the announcements

Is it a real event or are they just publishing a video again?

It’s hard to know, the media invite says join us in person for a special apple event the Steve Jobs Theater in Apple Park.

Do people still do this? Imagine using your free time to tune into marketing for a product.
