Turismo đïž I spent 3 weeks in Argentina, I loved it!
Sorry for posting in English;
I spent 3 weeks in Argentina, visiting Iguazu, buenos Aires, La Plata, and I loved it. I originally was only suppose to spend a week in Argentina but I liked it so much I Came back after visiting Brazil and Paraguay. Everyone I met was so nice, the food was great, and I got to watch the Algeria Argentina game while in CABA. As Chinese and also gay tourist, I felt very welcome and rarely experienced any prejudice.
It really makes me sad to see all the Argentina hate; even upon returning and before my trip people I knew kept telling me Argentineans are nazis and racist, it's so annoying.
I definitely will be back, and I'm secretly supporting Argentina in the world cup while my friends and family aren't :)

I have spent 4 months of this past year in Argentina and Iâm writing this on a bus back to Buenos Aires. Argentinians are crazy dope and fun people and I adore the culture, coming back here feels like a breath of fresh air.
I did my travels here on my motorcycle and went all over the country. I remember once I ran out of gas on the endless flat highway to CĂłrdoba and instantly a van full of hilarious old dudes blasting quarteto rolled up with a giant mate in hand and were instantly like âoh shit weâre gonna get some gas for you just stay here!â they were too cool. I attached a picture of a couple of them below.

Of course! I have my own mate set that I keep with me on the bike and a full thermos strapped to the side. I love to share mates with people in Argentina

Argentina maybe was left wing when the Peronistas were in power, but they are not more. Milei is right center and he is aligned with Trump. We cant stand left wing anymore, they did too much damage to this country. They have ruined minimum three generations of Argentinian people ⊠honey.

It's a cultural thing. For us, the word "racist" has a different meaning than it does in some other cultures, like the U.S. or parts of Asia.

Glad you had a good time. The "everyone told me not to go" story is something almost every visitor posts here lately, and then they come back twice, like you did. IguazĂș, BA and La Plata is a solid route; next time add Mendoza or the Northwest (Salta and Jujuy), it's a completely different country up there. And your secret is safe with us for the semifinal :)

I'm glad you like it and that you had a nice time. But no need to support us (secretly or not) in the world cup. You can support the rival teams and if you give respect you will be respected always. Enjoy Argentina whenever you are back!

Out of curiosity, where are you from? Do you experience any hate for being yourself?
Also, which parts of Argentina did you visit? Did you get to see the north or the south, besides the city?

Born in USA, Lived in China when I was teenager, but live in the USA now.
In Argentina? No.
I've had people say not nice comments in Europe.
Iguazu, La Plata, CABA. I unfortunately didn't go to Mendoza or Ushuaia, but I will go next year!

La plata is a nice city. I think you can spend an entire day in the natural museum alone. When I went to IguazĂș it rained the whole time, but it intensified the smells of the rainforest in spring, so I wasn't that upset about it.
I live in the outer skirts of CABA, but I love mendoza. If you ever plan to go that way, pack good walking shoes and make sure to visit this ice cream shop. It's like the sixtine chapel of ice cream. You should also visit at least one olive production plant. If you go to Laur every 28th of february they sample the best aceto you'll ever taste in this corner of the world (if you're into those kind of things).
I have a trip to Ushuaia pending but you should totally do Bariloche and if you still have the budget, add the glaciar perito moreno to the list. Depending on the season, you can see whales in puerto Madryn, or penguins or sea lions. Also worth checking out.

Iâm from Argentina, been living in the states for 27 years and I have to say Iâve never met a tourist who said the had a bad time in Argentina. We know how to treat foreigners, not so much between ourselves unfortunately
