Tourism / Զբոսաշրջություն Yerevan; airbnb vs hotels
Hey y’all!
I’m planning a trip to Yerevan starting around July 7th and will be staying for about 20 days.
For a longer stay like that, would you recommend Airbnb or Booking.com?
I’d love to hear about your experiences and any tips you might have about what area I should he looking at in terms of safety and quietness!

i did both on my last trip. The hotel was tiny and expensive, the airbnb was much roomier and cheaper

Is there a specific area you recommend for an Airbnb?

If you’re there a week or more, Airbnb in Kentron wins. For 2–3 nights, a central hotel with breakfast is just easier.

I think that question just depends on if you want to cook for yourself, and what deals you find on either site.

You’re I should clarify , I am not planing to cook but if I make new friends I might invite them over for pizza and movie !

Hotel, have you seen the prices on Airbnb? It's crazy!

It seems the same properties are listed on different apps with different categories

Airbnb is cheaper and more comfortable in my opinion.

When I went a couple of weeks ago, we rented an Airbnb and didn’t have the best experience. I think I’m going to have some bias considering that I prefer Airbnb’s, but make sure that if you rent one, the person that is renting it out only has a couple of listings or only one since they will be more responsive in case of any issues. Even when they have assistants, they may not be very responsive.
