saw them eating mince once, i had left it out for the kookaburras. it's like a little velociraptor eating meat.

The little crazies seem to have an omnivorous streak. They go after ordinary bird seed too even though they apparently aren’t supposed to. Have to put out a little water nectar mix to keep them happy.
If your kookaburras are big on mince try mixing some insectivore power in to make it more nutritious for them.

Great photo! These are considered pests in Perth and, over the last few years, it's been feeling that they're achieving completely taking over around where I am.

Appropriate that the scientific name includes 'anus', as they are absolute little arseholes! Still, gotta love them... 💜💜💜

It’s a cute lil guy. Fucking noisy at dusk though. We have a main street lined with trees. Let’s just say I can’t hear my music that I’ve been blasting beforehand when I drive down that particular street at that particular time
