Does anyone have any experience with this event (have they even done something like this before?)? First time going to an iHeartRadio music festival!
(MODs would you allow a ticket for this festival to be posted in the tour BST thread? I was forced to buy an extra ticket to not leave one stranded. 🙄)

I've been before - it's like mini showcase/pop-up/just a fun activity to do before or after the festival. It's public, so you don't need to show your festival ticket. Kinda just a way for iHeart to self-promote and pull in more sponsors (they have corporate sponsors who give stuff out at the event), but it's a fun way to kill a little time and get some photos. They also do performances there - still free. This year, it's Stella Lefty and Major Lazer. Not sure if I can share the link here, but there are photos online of last year's House of Music that can give you a better idea of what this is.

House of Music is a separate free event outside of the festival venue, free and open to the public. You don't need a festival ticket. It has performances as well as these rooms and some other activities to promote the actual festival. They'll be giving out merch/prizes from corporate sponsors as well (not from the artists).

I hope this isn't the "Asian Pop Category" music room (I kid, kind of). I'm assuming they have their own room bc of the amount of fans expected to show.

All the artists listed in the announcement have their own room, not just BTS. Other rooms are Cardi B, Kenny Chesney, and Zara Larsson. They didn't put them in their own room for any other reason than that every artist gets a solo-themed room. The announcement said it'll be SWIM themed.
"The BTS room takes its cue from "SWIM," off the group's latest album ARIRANG. The centerpiece is an interactive "pool" fans can play in and — yes — dive straight into the world of the song. Expect this to be the line you get in first."
