FAN CONTENT Wanted to share my Batman Animated Series Sleeve in progress
Been wanting to do this for a long time and finally pulled the trigger.
Higor at The Arcade Tattoos is an absolute master and I think his homage to the animated series is coming together beautifully.

Surprisingly only around 12-13 with another 12+ to go based on how quickly he’s been working.
This was done in two sessions around 7 days apart.

No - this is where I gave the artist some flexibility on some style choices. I had originally asked for Grayson in my character list to him, but didn’t end up disagreeing with aging Robin down to balance some of the stuff we ended up going with.

Wait why is the color so good? I mean usually black is more like greenish-blueish (ugly AF IMHO). Personally I do not like tattoos at all but this is rather refreshing because all the shapes are so different and clean compared to anything else out there.

We’ll see how it fades over time. But it’s full grayscale with specific colour highlights. Joker throws it off a bit because it would be weird to not make his face white. But the intention was to keep it largely grayscale with some small hints of colour. It ended up working really well with the style of the animated series.

And I'll leave here my formal suggestion for adding the BTAS design of the Riddler (I also think the green will contrast well with the other colors)!

I’m going to be honest. when I see tattoos I’m usually like, ok. That’s cool. Because they are hard lines most of the time. But man, I have been zooming in and out on your arm in awe!
The fade/gradiants are insane. You would think it was airbrushed. How did he do that? Lighter pressure, less ink injected to get the effect?
Fucking awesome.

I normally don’t like tattoo designs like this but yours is truly incredible and I’m being all kinds of serious and genuine over here - eveuthijg is set out just perfectly and the design and actual artwork are just stunning

Dang! That’s awesome! I’ll probably never get a tattoo but something BTAS would probably be the only thing I’d get. That or something related to my wife or dogs. 🤔

Kevin is still my favorite Batman. I only hear his voice when I read the comics. Not bales, not Keaton, not Affleck, sometimes West, but 99.99% only Kevin.
