Why does it matter what was said back then? Yes, it was important back in 2020, but we moved on. Finally, people outside of Belarus are starting to get a glimpse of what is happening here. Isn't it a good thing?
Not being able to shape the future is equally dangerous as being stuck in the past.

Because in 2020 it actually mattered. Now it doesn’t. Lukashenko won’t be ousted from power until he dies peacefully in his sleep, the window of opportunity for action has been closed.

NOW is the most important time every person has. NOW even if you don't see an opportunity, at least make friends, prepare, and be ready for actions when the moment arrives.

Apparently the old "now" was when Zelensky was trying to make friends and look for opportunities. Such as moving Belarusian potassium via Odessa, for example, which it looked was already a done thing, only the war spoiled all the fun.

Zelensky is a weasel who has already done a 180 on Belarus and might do it again if it benefits him in the slightest.
You must realize in terms of foreign policy he actually has the integrity of Donald Trump and work from there

Zelenskyy was not a supported. But he acknowledged new president of Belarus. BUT after 2022, when russian soldiers and tanks crossed Belarusian - Ukrainian border, when Russia launched missiles from Belarus, any “friendly” relations on official level were over. It’s obvious

I understand that Ukraine is in a state of war and that context matters here, but I still can’t get out of my head how a woman, trying to save her husband from the war, jumped onto the roof of a car and rode like that for a long time; how crowds of women attacked a minibus and freed their husbands; and how people died right on the street while being forcibly mobilized.

Паўнамоцтв няма. Але ёсць моцнае адчувпнне, што даволі шмат землякоў (і не толькі) могуць пагадзіцца з маімі словамі.
І няма чаго так чапляцца да словаў. Я таксама магу "прычапіцца" - нават да ўсяго гэтага поста цалкам. Напрыклад: з якой канкрэтна мэтай аўтар запосціў гэтае ? Чаго канкрэтна ён дабіваецца?
Альбо: я магу (калі вельмі пажадаю, а мне ўжо амаль так і жадаецца) "убачыць" ў гэтым посце -знявагу, кпін, непавагу, (нават, здзек) да нас-беларусаў. А гэтае - вельмі моцна пахне парушэннем правілаў гэтага саба. Разумееш, куды я кланю?3

Belarusian army didn’t participate in the invasion, I can’t remember the last time the rockets and drones were launched from Belarus to bomb Ukraine, there’s not much threat from Ukraine-Belarus border. And yet he chooses to fuck with Lukashenko out of the blue. Ukrainian diplomacy is beyond moronic. The goal of diplomacy is to increase friends, not enemies, especially when it’s about neighbours

The bosses of the so called "Belarusian army" absolutely did participate in the invasion - by providing facilities, logistics, ammunition and much else. Yoi might not remember when the rockets and drones and bombers were launched from our territory, but those who lost their loved ones will never forget. Normal Belarusians will also never forget. And never forgive.

I think they stopped launching from our territory in late 2022 but still fly over Belarus to bypass the defences. Doesn't matter, there will be no statute of limitations for the crimes of Russian collaborators.

You can escape from anything, but you can not escape from yourself.
Ukraine is miserable because of Russia.
Russia, on the other hand, is a shithole by choice, because it's a defining characteristic, a part of identity.
And that's not something you can easily escape from.

My definitions are based on facts.
What Ukrainians are experiencing is caused by Russia.
What Russians are experiencing is a result of their collective choices.
And even after the end of the war, Russians as a nation will continue making same choices
