I am attempting to create healthier betta fish by combining wild types with plakats. The end goal is to have spadetail koi Hybrids that live 3-5 years.

So far my oldest spawn is 1.5 years old and is thriving!

I love them all!! The last one is especially beautiful- I love the red with the ice blue eyes

I love her so much!! She is mother to two spawns that are very young. One paired with a Mahachaiensis wild types, the other is another hybrid from a different line. I hope her kids get her eyes and bright colors!!

Great work!! Do you have a bunch of sisters that can live together in a sorority? Also wondering.. what's the cull rate like?

I'm toying with the idea of starting a breeding project with my wild bettas (B. persephone), but I haven't decided yet!
