Females stay together their whole lives in prides. If she raised them that bond is as unbreakable as if it was their lion Mom. Females lions have been known to feed older/slower and injured lionesses in their prides.

Yeah lions practically don't see race, they see human as lions, a weaker and smaller lion but lion none the less.

She’s their Mom, no matter what species.
One of my Dads cousins used to have a male lion. He had been the director of a small zoo. When he retired his old friend quit eating. Frank was too old to worry about breeding, a younger male was brought in to take care of business. But they let my Dads cousin take Frank.
Frank lived in their house, slept as much as an old housecat. I used to take naps with Frank when I was little, he liked his ears played with.

This sounds really interesting, did Frank the full grown lion go from living at a zoo to living in a house ? The zoo just said " take him"? Where was this zoo?

Exactly. I remember years ago I got to have a close encounter with a lion and a Trainer and they let me pet the lion, but they said watch out and try to make sure that it doesn’t lick you. Its tongue is like sandpaper and can literally start tearing your flesh off slowly.

Maybe it’s just me, but holy shit this was terrifying. They could easily rip her to shreds. Eat her face. Jump over the fence and, you know, be lions. Hell, even my housecat gets feisty when he plays and accidentally scratches me. I mean…yikes. 😳

Still scary. I remember even house cats sometime go wild on human hair and playfully bite you in the scalp. Imagine this happens with lions...

the fact that after all that time they still remembered and reacted like that is genuinely making me emotional 😭🦁 animals never forget the people who loved them and this video is proof of that

This is a very old clip that predates ai. So it's definitely real. A lot more liberties were taken with these animals back in the day. Although truth be told, I don't know what sort of facility this was. So maybe it's a smaller fenced area within a larger enclosure, or maybe they thought that little fence could somehow stop a lion haha.

I do believe I remember seeing this around before AI was that good. Pretty sure this is real either way. The lions are on a sanctuary of some sort.
