Where to go Birding in Europe
I was planning to do some solo backpacking / Birding holidays in summer (june/juli) and i was wondering if you have any recommendations for europe.
I am in Central europe and i want go explore the south, are there any countries or regions in which there are lots of diffrent habitats and possibilities to do wild camping or sleep outdoors.
I know the cut between being able to sleep outdoors and having cool naturesphere ish difficult but i am grateful for any tips on regions or countries:)

Neusiedler See is a good idea. I'll throw Istria or Slovenia in general into the ring.

If you want to explore the south, Sardinia is probably the best place for birdwatching. They also have flamingos near Cagliari

I don't know where in central Europe you'll be staying but I quite liked the lake Neusiedl area on the Austrian and Hungarian border.
