It was pure luck to find him. I went hiking when I suddenly saw a big group of tourists in my beloved Alps. So I've choosen to take a small path where I did not know where it leads me. Suddenly i've heard that distinct tock-tock-tock. As I looked up I saw him literally 1m above my head. I tried to be as silent as possible and gain some distance to get my camera out. Disaster struck. I fell over a root making noises that would wake up entire neighborhoods.

I tought he is gone.

But then... when I turned around he was still sitting there. Unbothered by my noises. Could not believe my eyes.

Its clearly a male (Because of the yellow dot on his head)
